I went out with the flysurfer yesterday in 16mph at the Ffrith yestarday, ash could just about get going with his phantom, but me on the other hand was gettin big airs & just basically(pause).........................hanging around. The kite is awesome, I've only flown a ozone frenzy fx open cell before & I did not like it, So I was a bit, is it going to be good - will I like it & the answer is YES YES YES!! What an awesome bit of kit for £200. Who wants a go then?

They are good kites, which one did you get? My pulse has been all over the world with me. I use mine on the water, relaunch is way faster than my Lei's.

@ crash - I got the speed 13m, good condition pullys all fully working... Don't think I'll ever bother with a lei, they have got a lot of catching up to do with the flysurfers..

Had a good blast @ the Ffrith today, got some huge airs going on with the Venom 16 even tho I was on the tip of overpowered, want more days like it!!

Nice little session at BRS today. Hope everyone got home OK.

Yeah, pleasant day out. Wind a bit up and down and not the best direction, but if I waited for one of those days I'd only get out once year.

Scott - how you feeling after your tumble? Trust OK if not a little bruised.

Short vid to follow.

Not the best if we are honest, needs some southerly in it really the wind isnt that clean otherwise!

Not a bad session yesterday would of been sweet had the wind been slightly cleaner! :)

Nigel a SW is bang on shore ar BRS but it will take anything from a W to S. Yesterday it was NW at times which meant it was cross shore, down the beach and we were running from high water to low water. At the start this meant there wasn't a lot of beach for buggys. Low tide was around 17:00 yesterday, not sure if there will be any wind today

Was wicked at West Shore yesterday for a late afternoon session, blowin a beautie with strong gusts but no dropping out. Monster airs on a nicely powered 15m Synergy.

Little Thomas is coming on well too.

Yo Mick, long time no fly

Yes I know, so to make up for it the family and I have a trip to nabq in sharm booked for tomorrow, the bad news is my daughter has just come down with chickenpox on Friday so we've had to ring up and cancel. Gutted, I have had my things all packed since Tuesday.

Awesome Video Paul :) keep em coming..

...funny you should say that. Found a bit of footage from Nova a few weeks back. Only had a few mins on tape, so not a lot I could do with it. Also just realised only allowed 1HD upload per week on Vimeo, so quality is not too hot. Will replace with better version next week.

...and sorry Dave. Sid features as he was way closer when I was filming, plus can't not include Ian:rolleyes:. Next time eh!

So, as some of you may know, we can't go to France this Saturday because I washed the passports which renders them void & the passport office won't make us new ones in time. So can we all really blow really really really hard & I'll see you at the weekend for the best session yet ;) :)

@ Nat - did you get any answers to your hubs? I'm building me a board at the moment & they seem to be the ones to buy, so hoping there was an actual fault with yours? Cheers ma'deer :)

Oops !!

Hubs? IMO Rockstars are poop for kiting. They can't handle sideways pressure, they 50p so easy and they tear due to poor standard of injection moulding. The newer Twisters are also no good. The MBS alloys have been very good apart from needing lathing out to fit metric bearings and the fiddly complete breakdown to change bearings.

Primo hubs are tough and light enough.

There is also the new Trampa hubs (not heard good or bad reviews yet).
