Katch Posted January 27, 2009 Report Posted January 27, 2009 I'm heading off to the South of France to work at a watersports centre this summer. My employer doesn't provide insurance cover and it's up to me to sort out cover for the 5 month season. Any recommendations of insurance companies to look at? I need it to be relatively cheap - bells and whistles not required - I just want to be patched up if I have and accident and flown back home if it's necessary. Quote
Andy-j Posted January 27, 2009 Report Posted January 27, 2009 does the bksa insurance not cover you well enough on the kitesurfing front? Quote

Foilman Posted January 28, 2009 Report Posted January 28, 2009 I use Dog Tag - seems pretty good & covers landboarding with a kite specifically. Quote
metal_snapper1599968645 Posted January 28, 2009 Report Posted January 28, 2009 Dog Tag 100%. You need their Sport Plus policy. Personally I dont mess about and get the Max option. But you can select their Lite one, you will not get all bells and whistles and will pay excess on any claims plus if your gear gets lost you will be out of pocket big time with this option. Have a look on thier website http://www.dogtag.co.uk/ and get a online quote, you can then see what you get for your £'s Quote
Katch Posted January 28, 2009 Author Report Posted January 28, 2009 Ok, Dogtag actually looks really good - I remember looking at them for insurance for my winter season and they were really expensive - but for 5 months max cover its only £150 - SOLD Quote
