Hi folks i have recently bought a hellmet camera ive been whatching a couple of carl the bullet vidoes which are supurb i was wanting to know how to mount the camera onto the lines so that it points down to the ride i have seen carl do this in his videos but i dont know how to do it can anyone help please or is it posible to get intouch with carl the ask him

 

i havnt had much look with it just yet as i need to find the best place i had it on the right hand side of the hellmet nut wasnt catching much action so trying on the left this time hope to get out at the weekend!

to start with, helmetcam footage can be boring if its not editted right, so dont have really long clips of just sky-kite-board-ect (its better to film other people instead of trying to catch your experiance)

 

this mount only works on a depower kite so if you are flying a fixed bridal it wont work.

you put your front powerlines through the end tubes and secure it about 3m above you.

if you are using a front line safety then id suggest a stopper ball below the rig so thar the safety will still work

Hi thanks carl mate did you make the mount yourself i also like a couple of your vids were you just have the camera on a trypod just doing things yourself i might try this with some helmet cam footage mixed in, its also probably better to have someone filming you so two cameras and the helmet cam edited would be cool! i love the angle with the mount though i want to look into this
