Rebel 2010 owners, how is that mid strut?

Hi all

I am just interested how is mid strut going for Rebel 2010 owners. My came off, on about 10th use (was not trashing) today found out that one bloke had same problem with exact same kite (pink with gray). For his kite strut pealed of after 2nd use. And north is saying they had only one such issue - happened in big surf. Rubbish

Bloke who fixed was not impressed with North design for middle strut.

Maigais - loves kite not sure will get north again tho:(

I've had mine since early Jan, so far so good. I havent been kind to it either with several ditchings in westerport surf, but has performed well and relaunched without damage from rolled fith-line tumbles. Love the kite performance, but not made on the initial five line setup.
