hi all on ebay have you seen the kitesurfing sets of 10 times rtf c-kites inc choice of lines gaastra board 10m 12m and 14m c-kite pump bag rucksac everything you need really.so thats 10 sets for £3115.00 or arond there so its £315.00 a package the makers are a co called extron chinese again.oh and colours of choice.

It seems tempting but don't do it!I deal with a few of the chinese manufacturers, they seem to take rough dimensions of a good kite, eg chord width,span, aspect ratio, profile width etc and design a kite around the measurements. The quality is usually completely fine(because big brands are usually made in the same factory) but the kites often just don't fly right, like the wind range might be weird or the tow points might be in strange positions so they are over sheeted or way underpowered etc etc. I have flown a few of these chinese kites (china kites, karmack kites). Not saying it's complete rubbish at all, i'd just take the safe route and buy a good second hand kite!

old (new) C kites for £300? just look at them, like old style boxer kites, or wipika school kites, great 5 years ago if you were short of cash, but today that style of kite is worth £45, the bar is the best bit for the lines which must be worth £50, so £100 worth of gear for £300+, ok i will leave it for now,

I recently bought a bare bar from this ebayer.

It's identicle in every way to the new Ozone bars, even down to the tiny holes for the line retaining elastic. Looks a quality piece of kit. Was on at £30 I offered £20, so cost about £30 all in with shipping, and arrived within a week.

Not saying the kites are any good, but i'd certainly buy spares from them again.

The only thing thats not great about it is that it is all black with no way of telling left from right, but I've just put different coloured leaders on it.

if u look down the listing it says post is £342!!

if you go into their shop the whole package is £2799.00 so with £342 P&P it works out at £3142.00 the same.
