has anyone tried both the crossbow and the nova? i've read the artical in KITESURF MAGAZINE about both kites and they both have there advantages and disadvantages i noticed there seems to be a fair bit about the crossbow getting tangled up! just wondered if anyone had tryed them both and which one and why they would choose it!? cheers cw -
The beach i normally kitesurf at (DAYMER BAY) is currently serving a ban!!!!! Although this is only in effect for 2 months (JULY and AUGUST) between the hrs of 9am - 6pm I still nedd to find somewhere in the same area so if i can get there sooner then i dont have to wait till after 6!!! You Help is truley appreciated. Thanx.

Hello to you all, I know there is not much wind out at the mo and my usuall source of info (windwatcher.net) is out of commision for some reason. Does anyone know of a good beach to go to in a due east wind in cornwall!????? Thanks cw

Hello there, In June i will be off to Lanzarote. I was wondering if anyone knows of a shop or club i can hire kit off and also does tuition on an hourly basis as i could do with a refresher and my girlfriend has never touched a real kite! EVER!!!! I've been flyin kites for a few years now, I'm not that good but i can do enought to amuse myself! I have recently started flying on the water and it has come to my attention that this is not a good idea to go solo! I'm just looking for people in the North Cornwall area or those who are looking to fly in the area to go with as i have recently moved to the area and dont know anyone that enjoys kitesurfing yet! I know that there are some clubs available but due to work comitments i have found it difficult to find and join a club. So anyone in the area that needs a kitesurfing buddy or a group that doesn't mind someone to tagging along please reply and/or email me at little.webby@gmail.com See you out there.

Hi, I'm off to LES MENUIRES (somewhere in france!) in Jan to go snow boarding. I'm a keen kitesurfer/buggy/landboarder and have an array of water launchable and ram air kites. I've not tried snowkiteing yet but hoping to in Jan. Does anyone know if there are any sites in les menuires where it is possible to snow kite and what size kite is recommended?

When applying for BKSA membership it gives you the opertunity to join the local club in your area for £5. and as i live in Bodmin, Cornwall the local club is ment to be Sickair! so i put the extra £5 in to the membership but as i have not heard from The BKSA I dont know whats going on!

Hi Tom. I'm not sure who to contact to join sick air but i have heard that they're not a very active club! However there is a new club in the preliminary stages of getting going, to find out more call either Dave or Reuben at Reactive sports (Plymouth) for more details (01752 255999). Hope this helps. I was just wondering if anyone else has had any problems with the BKSA? I filled out the application form on the internet printed it off, posted it with cheque for £30 for membership(£25) and to enter a club (£5 sick air - which is the local one for me!) and i have not as yet heard anything back! the cheque has not been cashed and it has been almost 2 months (sent on 18th Oct 04) and i get the feeling i'm not gonna get any response! What should i do? does anyone know of any other organisations like BKSA (but ones that actually reply to you!)?
