1. ]I have a 2008 5m Ozone Instinct Light for sale. Great high wind kite and real good for wave riding. I weigh around 76 kg and it gets me going in 24knts + on a surfboard. It has some repairs but is perfectly servicable. Needs a 5 line bar set up which all Ozone LEI kites used up until and including 2008. £70 + postage http://i529.photobucket.com/albums/dd338/garretstowngary/Kites/IMGP4318.jpg http://i529.photobucket.com/albums/dd338/garretstowngary/Kites/IMGP4317.jpg http://i529.photobucket.com/albums/dd338/garretstowngary/Kites/IMGP4315.jpg
2. Now on E-bay, buy it now or make me a (sensible) offer. Item number: 260735962284
3. So does the mount fit on the front line leaders? If so I guess it will not fit on the Ozone setup as there are no front line leaders. Anyone got a clear pic of the line mount fitted, or a copy of any fitting instructions? I'm kinda tempted but need to understand how it fits.
4. Ideally I would like to swap this kite for a 9m C4 2010 in same condition as it is slightly bigger than I want for waveriding. I bought it December 2010 and it has been used twice for a total of about 30 minutes on the water. Lines have not been used as I have 2 sets. Alternatively it is for sale complete for £670 http://i529.photobucket.com/albums/dd338/garretstowngary/Boards%20for%20sale/c410m.jpg[/img]"]http://i529.photobucket.com/albums/dd338/garretstowngary/Boards%20for%20sale/c410m.jpg http://i529.photobucket.com/albums/dd338/garretstowngary/Boards%20for%20sale/IMGP3857.jpg http://i529.photobucket.com/albums/dd338/garretstowngary/Boards%20for%20sale/IMGP3847.jpg
5. Just back from a snow/grass kiting session. Harwich, Essex. Not quite enough covering the grass, wind is blowing it off, but still enough to get going on snowboard and 10m C4. 5m, 7m, 10m Ozone C4 and a shed full of surfboards
6. Sorry to hear that, I'm with Colin, bring back hanging for all no-hope scumbags. What size/colour were kites? Did you record the serial numbers? Probably not a lot of help but may be useful in proving ownership. I wonder if there is any traceability/proof of ownership if the kites are warranty registered with Ozone as mine are. Cowboy 54, I am also with NFU for my house ins, can I ask if you needed to list your kite gear with them, or is it automatically covered when in house and van? Ozone C4's 5,7 and 10m Cheers Gary
7. Clean area with alchol. Stick rip stop/spinnaker tape either side of canopy over tear. Go to Argos and buy a cheap sewing machine. Zig zag stitch all round perimeter of patch. When finished, take sewing machine back to Argos and tell them that you missus didn't appreciate the present you bought her. Job done. Repair will cost a couple quid, really easy to do, will take less than 1 hour and be as strong as new.
8. I have for sale a 9m Ozone Light II, kite only. Kite has been repaired but flies perfectly. I have been using this kite for waveriding for the past 2 years, the repairs were done over a year ago. There is a repair to one of the canopy panels, some pinholes which have been patched, and a Dacron patch on the leading edge. The leading edge also has some scratches. The kite is great for waves. It is very light, has good depower and drifts well when lines go slack. Would also be a good beginners kite. This kite requires the Ozone 5 line bar which was used on all Ozone kites pre-2009 £140 http://i529.photobucket.com/albums/dd338/garretstowngary/Boards%20for%20sale/IMGP3441.jpg http://i529.photobucket.com/albums/dd338/garretstowngary/Boards%20for%20sale/IMGP3436.jpg http://i529.photobucket.com/albums/dd338/garretstowngary/Boards%20for%20sale/IMGP3437.jpghttp://i529.photobucket.com/albums/dd338/garretstowngary/Tiree%20June%202009/IMGP1972.jpg http://i529.photobucket.com/albums/dd338/garretstowngary/Boards%20for%20sale/IMGP3439.jpg

10. Reduced Prices: 7 & 9m kite, bar/lines, 1 bag. £300 7m kite only: £70 9m Kite only: £140 Bar and lines: £110
11. I've had a Gul Enforcer drysuit for past 3 years, worked fine, kept me fairly dry and warm, (ankle and wrist seals are real difficult to keep totally sealed when being smashed about) but I sold it recently as I got a C-skins wired 5mm suit a couple years back, then never bothered with the drysuit again.. So much nicer, more comfortable and I have never really felt cold in it. As I am into waves, I was always a bit worried in the drysuit when I got rinsed. Guess there has been a lot of debate on the pro's and cons, just thought I'd share my experience.
12. I have for sale 2 Ozone Instinct Light II kites and 1 bar. Blue 7m, green 9m The 7m is described earlier on this for sale forum. The 9m has one repair to a torn panel, a few canopy hole repairs, and a couple of scratches to the leading edge which have been patched with dacron. Both kites fly perfectly, great for waveriding and good for learning. I have used these kites all this year after the repairs were done. The bar is the 08 52cm used on all Instincts. (Light, Sport and Edge) 25metre lines are in good condition. Prices: 7 & 9m kite, bar/lines, 1 bag. £320 7m kite only: £70 9m Kite only: £160 Bar and lines: £110 http://i529.photobucket.com/albums/dd338/garretstowngary/Boards%20for%20sale/IMGP3443.jpg http://i529.photobucket.com/albums/dd338/garretstowngary/Boards%20for%20sale/IMGP3439.jpg http://i529.photobucket.com/albums/dd338/garretstowngary/Boards%20for%20sale/IMGP3436.jpg http://i529.photobucket.com/albums/dd338/garretstowngary/Boards%20for%20sale/IMGP3437.jpg http://i529.photobucket.com/albums/dd338/garretstowngary/Boards%20for%20sale/IMGP3435.jpg http://i529.photobucket.com/albums/dd338/garretstowngary/Boards%20for%20sale/IMGP3434.jpg http://i529.photobucket.com/albums/dd338/garretstowngary/Boards%20for%20sale/IMGP3432.jpg http://i529.photobucket.com/albums/dd338/garretstowngary/Boards%20for%20sale/IMGP3445.jpg http://i529.photobucket.com/albums/dd338/garretstowngary/Boards%20for%20sale/IMGP3168.jpg http://i529.photobucket.com/albums/dd338/garretstowngary/Tiree%20June%202009/IMGP1972.jpg
13. I have for sale a 'much repaired' 7m Ozone Light II. It has been repaired following a meeting with some rocks. Despite the repairs it flies perfectly, no punctures or remaining tears. I was using it all this year for waveriding and it never let me down once. It is a dream to use in waves. Being 3 strut and light, it 'drifts' nicely. Also a very forgiving, easy kite to fly. It would be ideal for someone who is still learning and needs their 1st small kite, or a kite which can be crashed into the beach while learning, or someone who is getting into waveriding and doesn't want to wreck their best kite. I am thinking £70 for kite only, but open to offers. I do have a bar and lines suitable for this kite, but need to think if I need it as I will also have a 9m Light II for sale soon. This kite needs a 5 line Ozone Instinct line setup as the 5th line is 'active' and not just for safety. Will post pics if anyone is interested.
14. I'm with Dbcrx. From my experience of boat and surfboard building, , Epoxy is the one to use. Polyester is OK for laminating, but does not really stick like epoxy. Also, if the core is EPS, polyester will attack the foam.
