Kick ur Ass you say !!OH YES i know that one:eek: as im a newbie 3-4 mths, And my Beloved BLADE3 4.9 was my first kite:D And yes ive seen A&E,not just once lol.( BUT I AM WELSH AND LOVE IT,ieMAD).But now ive learnt wow! Wot an AWESOME KITE:D Just starting to learn boarding & yes struggling at times too.So if ur a fairly competant Flyer (know how 2 use window etc) I feel the 4.9 could be ur man,could get bored of a 4m but never a 4.9,dont ask me why but flown both and the 4.9 wins,hands down.God im babbling on again Best of luck Boy Bach .

Hi m8,i actaully started my flying experiance wiv a BladeIII 4.9,all i can say is dont even Think of taking the bugger out after 15-20+ winds.It has taken me a few months to tame my Beast but even now if i take my eye of it she will bite. DONT ATTEMPT WIVOUT Kite Killers,as its winter winds. As 4 how they fly--- like a dream when sussed,faster turning than the 1+2s,as 4 power and lift......WELL PURE AWESOME. Take it ezy and dont giv up as the B3 can be unforgiving.Had My Bumps,lumps But now i wouldnt give my 4.9 up 4 anything.. "Stick at it + U Wont Be Sorry" Good Luck Mate

Well lads how did you guess? Ive just come in from an hours cursing on the footie fields.Im travelling lovely then"YES" i either come over a touch too far and am rocketed straight up or i just cant seem to keep the kite moving to come back.I have listened to you lot on the earliar thread i put out which was why i kept turning left- Sorted,Loosened straps,more foot on board and no more heelside turn.So nice 1 4 that lads&gels. Am i alone in this struggle 2 board?As im losing plot slowly!!! One more thing yeah,might sound stupid but if i overrun cos ov power/speed and need to stop quicker r KKs the other option?cos close shave today left me white lol!!!

My problems r not coming from the boarding part as im pretty good on mountainboards and quite often do a lil bit of downhill.My probs r reading wind direction,i can follow downwind and have a good run but trying to go bak and fore is causing me "ED-ACHE".As wiv the blade,i would so much love to use this 4 my boarding but cos ov wind power im lost.How come i can fly Blade static but not on Board? I do fancy the de-power kites that so many rage about,R they totally diff 2 fly?Thanx 4 replies,im off wiv my blade to try again????? :eek: Would a Bomber or Phantom be way out ov my League?As funding is limited and dont want to buy another kite 4 a while?

Hi folks,im just about to get myself a new kite 4 boarding as i just cant seem to learn on a BladeIII 4.9,Now at mo the 4.9 is my bestest toy 4 static cos i do love lift,but can someone please tell me whether im better off buying a new kite or just stick at it wiv the 4.9?I find it so unforgiving at times and being a newbie wiv no Boarding pals (tis it cos i's welsh?) im on a very slow learning curve.Weather is not helping at all ,as yesterday all i did was be successfully pulled around on my front 4 most of day,ouch is not the word!! Scary at times too when it just lifts ya 6-8ft off board unexpectedly:eek: So am i better off getting a smaller foil or Is it Easier to learn on a de-power? Though cost could cause trouble wiv mrs 4 de-power.Really would like to suss out boarding ready 4 2005! Ps i can only travel 1 way too??? My Bag = Not a lot but damn i have fun!!!!

Have taken my 4.9 out in shallow sea wiv bodyboard,GREAT FUN! Also done the bottle thing But Have you tried RollerBlading wiv Kite?Tried it 1st time other day-- MENTAL!!!Lots of fun - wish id used pads,ouch lol!!!

Im in Torquay but travel 2 fly most weekends,Blade iii 4.9 i fly & trully believe that these r awesome kites 4 all type of activities!!But wot i will say is that wiv winter now closing in u have to watch those winds,took me ages to suss mine out and i still dont think i can fly at times..its up up and away,whoa am i that high? How do i land?And look out its a 100yrd SCUD lol 0-/

I am a newbie who's just started boarding.Spent 2-3 mths trying to master my blade iii 4.9 -realised not ezy,now ive started boarding im struggling wiv my deck constantly turning left,now im trying&trying till my hearts content but still seem to turn left heel side and lose my wind? i cant stop it,as being an ole skool skater i thought it would be ezy but add a kite & im lost. Can anyone tell me where im going wrong? And am i the only one who seems totally mystified by boarding ? Recreational kiting/Boarding or Buggy? If All Ov um and ur a pretty competant flier, join the BLADE3 4.9 krew. Cracking all rounder of a kite which u should never tire ov! Or Have a word with "logicworkshop"-sure he could sort you out wiv sumfing,And being a welshman, you can probably trust him to the hilt!!! Bit Bias i am mind! IM struggling wiv the Blade3 myself BUT "only on those windy-er days do i find the Blade so unforgiving".....Lots of Bumps and Lumps from Mrs Blade3 recently but as a learner its expected,(why MRS?--Cos she can be a bitch) Superb Lift, Incredible Power = Great Kite 4 Static fun:eek: .Just keep ur eye on her as im sure as soon as i take my eye off mine it decides to fight?
