Have you looked at the Amdro Boot Jump conversion? Amdro Alternative Camper Conversions Cute as puppy poop. Prevents any nasty MOT problems if you permanently convert a panel van. Insurance should be easier as well. Just back from an awesome week in El Gouna. 3days kiting @ Red Sea Zone (fek'd up not checking the tides,,,,,, lesson learned ) Stayed in Turtles Inn, BB board @ Captains. Superb food. In the cutest spot we have found on the Red Sea so far! Learned to sail on the light wind days. What a brilliant experience it was. Topaz Taz dinghy's in gusty 10-15mph are fek'n great fun. Yup Holiday started vwith ice lolly. They are like teltext - not the providers + the cheap hols have always gone. (or never existed,,,,,) But it lead us to Very Cheap Hols ( part of the Co-Op Freedom Group) Very Cheap Holidays - Cheap Summer 2013 Holidays to Spain,Greece,Majorca,Turkey,Portugal,Egypt and Canaries. Discounted All-Inclusive Holiday Deals It was £826 for a week B+B @ Turtles, inc Transfer/ O/night Manch/Hurgh + parking for the van for the week. Paid via credit card to get S75 protection and got the ATOL certificate before we travelled. + £45 for kite boards with Thomson. It all worked out fine. Back next year for two weeks in an Apartment. Still Buzzing )

We run a Citroen Dispatch XTR 2009. (not 4wd but almost!) Fitted with RR bed, floor and 2 side windows. Now 3 years old and it's the mutts. Two sliding doors + 40mpg. Next project is to get it insulated and lined. Nice thing is all Fiat/Pug vans have the same bits so spares are cheap as chips. We totally depend on our Slug (SLG Reg,,,) and it has delivered us through some horrendous conditions + we are in such a remote place it is noticeable how many crofters up here have citroen vans!

We fly Reo's and C4's but, you might want to wait a bit and get a demo on the new C4 that's coming out soon. That's what we are waiting for @ the moment.

Please just get him to practice body dragging stop trying to take short cuts. Honest It's safer in the long run,,,, Time served in apprenticeship is time well spent!

Never had any problems in 6years we have been here. The Organisers designate a beach (or two) for the day of the competition. The wind direction suiting the wave riding competition. We tend to like fairly onshore and as such we have always had a choice of mainly deserted beaches. Careful tho' you don't get agrophobic attack if you are used to your local crowded beaches ;oP Oh yeah, for some weird reason the wind is often light for the duration of the event, so bring yer big kites as well! cu on a beach!!

Sadly, very wise words,,, Still have my 10M Vortex & wouldn't sell it,,,,, But I don't use it on the water either,,, Ozone REO's and C4's are light years ahead. So we are happy and still keep the lilo for snow/beach use. We learned our self preservation lessons the hard way though. LEI's ROOL OK ON TIREE!!!

Yup, well said! It is indeed totally naff up here. Very dangerous to have all that space without others to look after you. It's much safer for you lot to stay down there and kite on crowded beaches. (looks @ XC and smiles to himself,,,,,,,, ;oP

Hi used disposable contacts for about 7 years. Lost loads and got sick of the hassle putting them in and taking them out ins a sandy environment. Then I saw these; PWC Prescription watersports glasses | goggles | RX, Sports prescription sunglasses | goggles | rx eyewear Problem sorted I thought! After paying £160 for the polarised version I was initially very impressed. Until I went swimming and dived in from the rocks below us and a lens popped out (£92) to replace and the head strap then came loose from the glasses. So, sent back repaired (but not yet paid for) and 2nd time out the lens popped out after a K/S face plant. Luckily I caught it and came back with it in my mouth. It turned out the lenses were press fitted unless gluing was requested. Now glued and been using them every time since and they are perfect. But what a hassle to finally get the product I wanted.

Anyone found a older version of the current Ozone bar/lines on Tiree. We have left one on a beach,,,, What beach? Possibly Gott but may have been Salum, or Haugh, or even Crossapol:o:o:o (note saying 'We' but it was me I reccon, not Pol:o Ooops.)

Hit the mark m8. Frustrating on the waves as it's so slow to turn and a bug'r to get re-launched in big waves. But boosting and float,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Still the best we have flown, awesome!! Though, we also used our 11m in light winds. Now only REO's and C4's as we live for them rolling waves to carve (or attempt to carve in my case ;o)
