  2. http://shareaza.sourceforge.net/ Its not legal, but it covers all (apart from fasttrack[kazza]) of the netwroks allready mentioned.
  3. google "xp admin password recovery" for research, then get some one who knows what there doing to help you out, like a local computer shop?
  4. have you gone through the custom install options from add/remove programs for office
  5. We used to make them at the juggling shop all the time. Pipe + plank of wood = job done. Tube about 9in diameter and 18in length. plank about 3ft. Buying them is imho a rip off. Just be carefull with the home made ones as they dont have stops at the end. For bonus points try staking up the plank. Normal: ------- . O Stacked: ------- H......H ------- . O
  6. i lub my kitedeck
  7. You will hear lots of conflicting comments about both, at the end of the day they are both great kites and you will learn the little bug bears of each one. I know its not always possible, but do try and have a fly of both. I would say that the frenzy does not inflate / stay inflated as well as the sabre, so if you are trying to fly it in wind that not really strong enough it does have the tendancy to tip tuck. This happens on my 12m, but not on the 7m as its no where near as wide. Cant comment on the 10m. I have found that the frenzy is better in the gusts though, its not as punchy as the sabre and gives you more time to let the bar out to shed some power. Yep, ive seen that happen. The saftey is a little better on the frenzy as well. I found the sabre easier to learn to fly, but size for size has a little less pull. Im sure there will be a frenzy 06 at some point, so hopefully there will be some 05's around second hand soon. I'm up for a 10m too Hope this helps, Matt.
  8. Not for games, thats still using the GeForce Go 6800, the new dell xps has the GeForce Go 7800 GTX.
  9. Job title: IT Director What i actually do: Get stressed then fly kites

    Tool bar

Oh, but that start bar is sooo much better down the side! Look at all the applications that you can fit in
  11. Personaly i cant really understand why the sabre didnt have a safety system as good as the frenzy 05. But im sure some kind of improved system will be a selling point of the sabre mk II though. Oh, and im not knocking sabres, they are great kites, but you have to admit that the saftey is whey behind the frenzy 05. As for the cross over bridle, if the lines didnt get jammed through the pullies that would be good
  12. In the past i have read about the possibilities of depowering my 6.6, in the end i came to the conclusion that i probably shouldnt mess with a kite that isnt designed as a depowerable foil. Apparently you can do it, but from what others have said, its a pain/lot of work for limited results. My opinion would be buy smaller and/or go depower, but like i say i didnt end up messing with my blade. As a boarder i havent looked back from moving to depowerable kites. 7 or 10 frenzy / sabre an option for you? I understand the cost may be difficult though.
  13. I've been very happy with my 4m buster as a first kite. Funnily enough i bought it about this time last year, i found it very easy to fly and very forgiving. For me it worked very well as a learner boarding kite, my mate got a radsail pro at the same time, and altough it probably had more pull, it was twitchy and a bit scary. Plus it has the whole adjustable bridle thing to play with, i've spent many a happy hour fiddling with its settings in different winds. Oh, and in six months time when summers coming on again, dont make my mistake and buy a blade, got straight for the 10m frenzy
  14. Acer ferrari was a good laptop when it was released, but the architecture is a bit out of date now, you can do better. You need to think about weight vs performance, good performing laptops can be heavy, and not have much battery life. The questions is, how much to you realisticaly want to use it when it cant be plugged into a power socket, and how much are you going to be carrying it around while travelling. If you are looking at the acer i guess that performance is top of your list. You dont mention graphics cards, you will need to pay particular attention to this for cad work and games. The new dell xps notbooks are darn quick.
  15. If you PM me your number, i can txt it on to Spooky. Matt
  16. frenzy / sabre very easy to whop out and get up. Never flown arcs though so cant comment on thier whopability, i hear they can be a pain to land though?
  17. My 7m will turn over if i pull the parking strop, but with the 12m i have to grab the brake lines about 3 feet further up. When you get then hang of which way you want it to turn you can grab one line one foot above the strop and the other 3 foot, and it will flip over. In light wind you may have to give it a firm tug a walk backwards a bit.
  18. Was thinking about using this, and printing on my Lexmark z45. Seems cheaper to give it a go myself. Every one else i have contact (Apart from M&M) wont even consider doing a single print. http://cartridge-supersaver.co.uk/product/BVIN10-0-Special-A4-inkjet,-self-adhesive,-weatherproof-vinyl.html Anyone tried this? Matt
