Thanks for the info, i'm used to inflatables so just assumed that if it had four lines the extra lines had to be for power/depower. I'm still left wondering why the extra two lines? Is it to make the kite sit in the sky at a particular angle? If it is just for safety couldn't you just have a leash attached to one of the leader lines, like on my old wipi classic?

Dear All, I'm after some advice on how to rig my 4.0m blade to adjust the power. My wife bought me a mountain board and the kite to go with, so I didn't get to discuss it with the shop. The kite came with 4lines and a bar, the middle two lines attach to a stretchy cord that runs through the center of the bar that has a writst strap on it. On my inflatable kites this would normally attach to a loop and I could use it to power/depower the kite. There seems to be some sort of rigging attached between the single leader and inner lines is this what I should be adjusting to alter the power ? Any help greatly appreciated. Cheers, P
