  1. Now on ebay http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Ozone-Frenzy-FYX-09-9m-complete_W0QQitemZ180368717529QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_SportingGoods_Kites_Kitesurfing_CA?hash=item29fed036d9&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=65%3A12%7C66%3A2%7C39%3A1%7C72%3A1688%7C240%3A1318%7C301%3A1%7C293%3A1%7C294%3A50 Cheers
  2. Still waiting to be PM'd with sensible offers! Only one I've had is from TomTomDjin and the forum wont let me PM or email you. Grab yourself an excellent kite that deserves the rave reviews and well worth the upgrade if you have an older frenzy. Going on ebay Friday but would rather sell here. Cheers,
  3. Spiral fracture to fibula Bump
  4. As requested, here are some pics. I am hoping to get around £600 for this sought after kite. So best offer by Thurs June 11th gets themselves an immaculate good as new kite. Cheers,
  5. I want to sell my Ozone Frenzy FYX 9m, it is only 2 weeks old and only flown very briefly on two occasions. It is orange/black/white. I have just broken my ankle and want to give up kiting to do something boring instead. With the control bar, bag and all the other bits. All absolutely mint.It was never crashed or dragged along the ground and hasn't got wet. So for all intents and purposes it is brand new. I haven't registered online yet for the warrantee so you will be able to do that with the receipt I will send on. I'll throw in a ground stake. So if you are thinking of buying this kite new why not save yourself some money and PM me with a sensible offer. Collection welcome from Poole otherwise happy to post anywhere in UK. Cheers
  6. That is exactly the effect I was experiencing. Hopefully I will get it up tomorrow and I will have the right size for the situation. Thanks to all the good advice I should have a good long session.
  7. I'm using a Best Spark 139cm.
  8. Thanks Guys, I'll always pack both kites then. I'll just have to live with the comments about my 9m pink Waroo I think I took the wind ranges specified for the kites too literally and was thinking I could just depower the 13m right down and that would get me going better than a 9m which I would continously have to work in 20 knots. I shall just have to try it and see. Dominich, I did move from landboarding so I'll blame it on that! Lots of good advice, next time I'll keep it low, twist and curl
  9. I too was in Cape Verde a couple of weeks ago. If Dorset is anygood I would thoroughly recommend easyriders at http://www.easyriderskiteboarding.com/index.html based in Poole. They do most training in the harbour which is an ideal place to learn because it is so shallow.
  10. The 13m Waroo is supposed to have a wind range of 11-27 knots but the upper end is probably for someone who is expert. I have just bought a 9m Waroo Pro that is supposed to cover 14-33 Knots. So I should have gone out with that. I did get going a couple of times and was edging nicely so was hoping I was kind of doing the right thing. Next time I'll take your advice gazxtreme about twisting to face the direction of travel. I also need to bite the bullet and get some speed and edge upwind rather than pottering along with the kite higher up the wind window. I have put my original 11m up for sale as I am hoping the 9m and 13m will cover most winds better.
  11. Okay, thanks. I was hoping I wasn't doing it all completely wrong! It was quite choppy but losts of other people seemed to be going okay but I think they had smaller kites. I think it was gusting to around 28 knots. I am about 74kg and think I could have got away with my 9m Waroo. Nice time I'll put both kites in the car.
  12. Hi, My progression seemed to take a backward step yesterday and I couldn't really stay up and planning. I took out a 13m Waroo in I guess an average of 20knots. This was probably too big a kite as I was struggling even to get the thing upwind to the deep water. When I got up and riding the board kept skidding away forwards from under me. Especially worse when going in one direction. Is it just a case of not leaning back so much or am I trying to reach too soon after going downwind on the launch? It was also happening when I found myself riding faster than I am used to. Thanks in advance for any advice
  13. I've never had or seen any agro there myself. Granted it is busy at times but it's a great spot for learning/improving. Everyone I have met has been friendly and helpful, both locals and visitors. I've even had free advise from a passing instructor. You must just be unlucky I guess.
  14. Still for sell! The kite is in very good condition. Still crispy. Will take offers
  15. Hi, I've moved over to kitesurfing so my trusty Ozone Frenzy needs a new home. It's in grey/white/red. Used but never abused. No rips/tears/repairs. Comes with the bar, bag and instructions. New 25m lines and the lines/pulleys on the speed system have also just been replaced. They probably didn't need it but I like well maintained kit. £350 plus postage (£15 for UK) Cheers,
  16. Hi, I am thinking of getting a Peter Lynn swivel pulley harness bar for use with my Blade II 4.9m and Bump & Hustle waiste harness. I am currently using a normal spreader bar with a bit of rope tied between the handles, the rope is encased in a bit of plastic tubing. The question for the collective wisdom is, Should I be able to attach a harness line between the handles> Eg as at http://www.powerkiteshop.com/accessories/mauimagicharnesslineqr.htm My thinking is this will last longer and provide a more rigid fixing to the handles. The quick release feature could also be useful for when I occasionally fall over clipped in (I also use kite killers). Regards, FlangePiece
