I am off to Fuertaventura this week and I was wondering how I was going to take my babies to have some fun in the sun. What I want to know is whether I can take my kites on to the plane as hand luggage or whether they have to be packed in my suitcase.

thought the price at argos seemed too good to be true. however i have found my local motorcycle dealer is selling full motoX lids for £40 so my decision has been made.

an alternative is a thule roof box which one of the boys i fly with uses . its the short stubby one .

I have just ordered myself a shiny new flexi buggy and my thoughts have turned to safety gear namely a lid to protect what little grey matter i have left and i was wondering if anyone out there has any info on the Diamond back full face lid which is going for £13 on page 263 of the argos extra catalogue. It seems a bit cheap but after checking th diamondback site it seems to have full safety certification equivilent to most of the pisspot lids that i see most people using down my local flying site.

I am in exactly the same position as yourself and after a lot of research I came across the v-nb1 buggy from square metre which has similar specs to the libre but is made in Britain and can be modified or upgraded to whatever spec you want and from what I have been told the quality is top notch. Point taken but with a bit of looking about I have already found a 4.5 LD for £245 so as I am not looking to buy until April as I am going to buy a sexy little square meter buggy first I will suck it and see and as you say there is allways the 5.5 buster which I must say is a nice kite having borrowed one from my local kite pusher.

Much as I like the buster after a blast on a L.D. I am tempted to spend the extra on a L.D. however an Elliot Ekko has also grabbed my attention plus I have been told Ozone will be replacing the L.D. at the end of April so there might be a few deals about.

Off the point how do you find the performance of the radsail as I am considering getting one -
I allready have a 3m buster but I am looking for somthing bigger as I am just getting into buggying I have been looking at a bigger Buster or a 4.5 lil devil. Can anyone suggest any other alternatives considering I don`t want to spend a fortune. So many kites so little money !

Not sure of web address but tel. 08702412040 for a catalogue allternately try your nearest motorcycle shop where you should be able to pick one up for £50 at the most which is your best bet as you can try it on. A tidy make which sells for £50 is Nitro. Most lids will be race approved.

I am about to buy a libre special buggy but I have just come across the square metre site and found the V-NB1 buggy . Does anyone know anything about this buggy and is it worth considering spending my hard earned beer tokens on one ?
