Yup, already done that, Tim replied saying the closest was Aussie. At the mo it works out best to buy from the USA, $366 NZ incl freight to my door and they normally arrive within 4-5 days which is pretty good.

Thanks for all the input people, the worst thing is being in NZ I don't know of any shops that sell these two kites or anyone that owns them, so the only option is to choose one, the wife won't let me have both , and order it from overseas. Being a somewhat novice I may go for the Gem.

Hiya all, looking at either of these two, which do people recommend?

Make yourself one out of Excel carbon and you shouldn't break one again, I went through 3 standard ones before going to Excel and havn't broken one since.

Twice now, the spine has broken on my Pulsar 180. This time it wasn't even being flown! Anyone else heard of this particular prob? Made my own new one this time using 6mm Excel carbon tube, better not break again.

Aaargh, I hate it when that happens, yea, any info would be much appreciated, over here in NZ I can't find anyone that owns one, neither can I find any info on the web. Cheers, Jeff.
