  1. Yeah, but can he go down a hill on a bike?
  2. No wind Ryan so no kiting this evening.
  3. Hi Beryuk There is quite often a few by the ski slope but BLT Flyers are bretty much based in Burton and when not tripping off to the coast, we usually fly on Paulette School fields. PM me with a contact number and I will give you a call and try and meet up with you. There hasnt been that much flying lately due to lack of wind and injuries. But the wind seems to be starting to blow again so there should be plenty of opportunities to meet up and fly. Look forward to hearing from you
  4. I guess I can fit you into my busy schedule. Have we confirmed dates for France yet? It looks like I may have some work out of town comming up so need to pencil in dates as soon as possible.
  5. Dont think I can afford a Phantom AND a trip to France. Should be OK for Wednesday though.
  6. Turn your Caps Lock off Keith, its like shouting and this isnt a shouting match is it?
  7. Oh, by the way, check your listings. That should be a Scrub Silver Reef Mountain Board shouldn’t it and a Strike 7m (not Srike). Oh, and the standard abbreviation for metre is little ‘m’. You got it right on a few kites on your list but wrong on others. You should only use the “” symbols if you are denoting speech, I suggest you change to a single ‘’, much better English. Just trying to help.
  8. Keith, You really need to calm down a little (and try and use a spelling and grammar checker). You come onto the BLT thread and use up everybody’s bandwidth with your list of kites you have and kites you used to have. Where does it end? Pieces of land you buggy on and have buggied on in the past, line sets you have and have once had. Maybe I should be listing stuff I have sold on ebay (now there is a good idea). Come on, I used to own a Peter Powell Stunt kite, should I be listing that out on my signature? Its great that people can be proud of their toys, I used to list my meagre set of foils, but to list stuff you have sold??? And if all you can come up with as a p*** take is my height, well that says it all mate. I can't do a great deal about my height, you can show a little sensibility and remove the bit about sold kites. I mean, come on, I have your old 5.5 why is that not on the list as sold? This BLT Thread has been going on for quite a while now and people have come and gone, adding useful information, passing on suggestions and having a laugh and a joke. We have not had any complaints until your input. As Eric pointed out, the reference to old school kites goes back a long, long time. Bit of a sort of BLT in-joke. You don’t get it? I wonder why. If you really don’t like the way this thread is going, don't read the thread, start your own thread do whatever, or carry on as is. It’s really no skin off my nose.
  9. Come on Keith, what really is the point of having your signature saying what kites you used to have? Having such a big list, are you trying to compensate for something? Hope you take em all out of your van at night, car crime is on the up in Burton you know.
  10. Whats this Eric, no reply to Keith. Come on, lets have handbags at dawn.
  11. Call me in the morning if you want. I'm not going anywhere
  12. They use old school kites in Derby on a Sunday. None of this new fangled arc stuff.
  13. On a scale of 1 to 10? About 3. It really didnt hurt at all when it happened and only ached a bit after discovering what had happened. The most painful bit was the injection for the local. As for removing that ring.....guesS you are right. Used to work on a lathe and always removed rings, but since becomming a shinyarse (working in an office) I never really thorght about it. Andd me being a Safety Consultant as well. But please bear in mind, It was a kite related incident because my friend was flying the kite, this injury could have happened at any time.
  14. Its just the wind direction Ryan. When the wind is comming over from the school, there is no point flying at Paulette. Wont be flying for at least 2 to 3 weeks. Oh yeah, really, if the winds good, Im flying, even if it has to be one handed on a bar.
  15. Hey, at least I got the buggy in the photo to prove I was buggying at the time
