    Blade Bridle

It is availible. There was a guy with a Blade III 10.5 with UDS at Silvaplana. Snowkite WorldCup. The larger sizes must have a different bridle. But is the 6.6 one of them?

    Blade Bridle

Hi, I would like to have a UDS System for my Blade III 6.6. I've heard that there is a difference between the bridle of the smaller Blades and the larger once. Who knows from which size its possible to use the UDS? THX and Greats Nils
  3. Hi, a friend of mine is looking for a new kite. He has got a Buster 4.0 for a long time. So he's an intermediate flyer, I think. For this windspeed, which Blade would you take? I think there is a big difference between Buster 4.0 and Blade 4,9, isn't it? So whats you opinon?? THX and Greatz Nils
  4. Yea, thats right. I would never let the handles go in such a situation it would make me falling down. Its now a lot easyer to understand what happened. At first I was totaly confused cause I couldn't understand where such a power comes from so suddenly. And which long distance I moved in the air.
  5. So there is nothing special which is a garantee for a soft landing? What about a soft brake to keep the kite in front of me? Or could this create some extra power?
  6. Sure, Savety first. I'll never go out in 5 Bft. with my Blade. But we had only 3 Bft. and suddenly there where this gust. s**t happens. What to do when I'm in such a trouble????
  7. Hi together, today I had a unexpectet high lift with my Blade 6.6. Very gusty winds. It was like a invisible hand catched me throwing me throug the air. Spectators said that I was about 8 meter or higher in the air. I thought I have to die. I don't know what I've done during this jump but the kite didn't stall (luck) so I got a soft landing. Back to earth I landed the kite and stored them away. It wasn't nice, it was damn high. So can you tell me what I've to do if such things happens? Do I have to brake the kite? Is there a special place in the wind window where the kite must be placed? If the kite gets behind me, it will stall and I'll fall down like a stone. So what I've to do in thge air for a good landing? Please help me. I really like my Blade but today the kite really shocked me. THX and Greats Nils
  8. Hi togehter, I've just ordered a Acaneos/BHI FIberFLex deck with MultiChannel Trucks to learn landboarding. I'll use my Blade 6.6 for boarding, but its only for lower winds. I think about a new kite which I can use in stronger winds. Not strong, but stronger... What do you think? Does a Frenzy 03 still makes sence or is the 04 so much better? I'll get a good price for the 03 now, I think. The 04 is to expensive for me at the moment. I thought about these kites: 1) Blade III 4.0 2) Frenzy 03 7.3 (or 9.5?) 3) U-Turn Oxigen Prof. 5.0 4) JoJo RM 5000 All kites I decited for 15mp/h windspeed and above. Which would you take for landbaording? THX and Greatz Nils
  9. Nice Boards.... And also not very expensive. But I'm a little afraid of starting this new hobby. I'm afraid of bracking my leg or ankle or something else. This heavy bindings on the nosnow boards aren't them dangerous? What do you think about the risk. Perhaps a buggy would be better for me but I've only a littel VW Polo. I think the buggy does not fit. Greats Nils
  10. Ok than, lets get back to my first question. As you said bigger wheels are better on bumpy grounds. Is it possible to put the 230cm tires of the kavadeck at the Flexdeck or Airdeck? I would like to have a shorter Board (less then 1m) couse of jumping.
  11. Oh very nice kite. I know the Frenzy 9.5 from my mate. But its very kompex bridle, isn't it? Doesn't that lines slow down the kite to much?
  12. What a kite is the blue one on your picture???
  13. Hi together.... ...what do you all think about the conditions for a good place to go landboarding? Here in germany aren't such good fields like in the UK as I could see in the gallery. So are conditons like on a soccer field nessesary or are little bumps ok? What Du you think about Flexifoil Boards. I thought about the Flexdeck. THX and Greats Nils
  14. I think my first try was ok. I'll not go out in conditions which are too difficult for me. And I'll never fly the blade in more than 10-12mph wind in the first time. And I'll never go alone. I think I'll learn when I try hard.
  15. Sure I'll be very careful. By the way: On my first flight I tried out the two knots at the brake bridle. The longer one was too loose the knot near the kite was too tight. Is it right that I have to add knots in order to find the right length?
  16. Sure your right. But I'm a student. I can't afford the money for a 3m blade. Two month later its boring and I have to buy a larger kite. The prices of the smaller blades are to high. First time I tried out my Super10s was in very strong wind. I managed it. So I have to manage this too. Normaly there is very low wind in my surroundings but I need a kite for every day. I dislike these sitting and waiting for wind. But these times are now over. Hope the rain will end up soon.
  17. Yea sure, both are completly different. But I can only use my Super10 stack from 20mph on to have fun. So I wanted a kite for 10-20mph. I hope it was the right choise. I used the blade only one time yet. in about 10 mph wind and I could manage.
  18. Hmm, that was my problem: Since now I own two Super10. Each one 2.86m wingspan as you know. Two weeks ago I thougt: Lets buy a traction kite. Blade sure, but witch size??? 4.9 or 6.6! I compared the wingspan of the super 10 (2.86) with the wingspan of the 4.9! Only 1.5m more (Flexis first quote: 4.3m) than the super10. I decited to buy the 6.6 with there 5m wingspan. But in real its 5.8m now, couse ot Flexis misprint. I'll hope I can handle the kite.
  19. Hi, does anyone know, why Flexifoil has changed the wingspan of all Blade III on there specification page. I thougt the wingspan of my Blade 6.6 is 5m. Now there are other values. Blade 6.6 = 5.8m wingspan. Were the first values wrong?? THX and Greats Nils
  20. Hey, you really know the surroundings here. I'm very often in St. Andreasberg. Not for kiting but in winter for sleigh riding. I'll contact the addresses you've given me so I can compare the prices much better.
  21. Hildesheim is much better. About 30 minutes with the car. But is there also a shop?? Is problem is to get Flexifoil in Germany. The only way for me is ordering online, at the moment. If you find a shop at the sea you can buy PKD etc... but no Flexifoil But perhaps the club in Hildesheim could help. Thanx again... Nils
  22. Cool... THX for your fast reply. Hameln is not so far away, about 60 miles I think. I'll try to contact the club there. THX a lot.
  23. Hello guys, after two Super 10 Powerkites its time for a Tractionkite I think. I'll try without a board first but I would like to have one later. The kite have to produce a good lift in light winds cause strong once are rare here. I tought of Blade 4.9 or 6.6. Which is the better one for my interesstes?? THX and Greats Nils
