  1. Hey Kat Scotland (Mainly climbing and drinking), but now I back in town. Shame to miss Sunday but had Race entry paid up before-hand and I don't wanna miss out on a free T-Shirt See ya soon though.
  2. Cheers Kat But that's a NO!! Jim's Sunday outing
  3. Ahhh just like a little puppy dog, LMAO!!! Now then Danny boy, this talk of being in a tent together, I'm not sure your intentions are truly honourable :D RAOTFLMAO
  4. Copyrights expensive, would need to look for upcoming local bands etc to do backing for nothing except the promotion of their music etc. I know a couple in Norwich who are willing to do this already....
  5. Ok I'm sorry, I should use my eyes to read with and then I may find post make more sense You mean 3D rendered graphics as add-ins for 360 exploded views etc not IMAX style 3D filming techniques, DOH!!! Yeah good idea Freez, would be interesting add-in to the beginner vid esp. Would be good to see some stuff you've done of boards etc give us an idea of what can be achieved. I've not worked in 3D stuff myself so v.intrested. Cheers and promise to read things more clearly next time.
  6. Slo mo is wicked, done some buggy shots like this and it really defines the motion during turns and bouncing around like you would never see at normal playback speeds. 3D, probably too difficult or expensive I'd imagine (Tell me otherwise!!) but the Split screen multipoint views rasga mentioned would give the same feeling but less technical input. Rasga I would definitely like to see some basic ATB stuff in there even if it was just for the road trip section messing about , jumping over volvos etc. Again we could do a whole other vid on just ATB downhill and tricks but it would give the vid a more rounded feel because peeps may be into both with/without kites or thinking about trying so just need a kick in one direction or other.
  7. K, Already been once before and it's great fun. laughed all the way round (In between bouts of ELVIS Legs Uhuh, huh, thank you very much!!) and we took my video camera, which was a riot to watch later. By chance it got dark early so we couldn't complete the last section hence we have complimentary tickets to go again. Recommended!!!!!!!!!!
  8. No go for next w/e I'm moving house and Going Ape in thetford forest!! (Bonobo goes back to his roots)
  9. Mmmm I haven't dared open the bag yet, will do so this evening with much disgust. The Bath will be it's home for a few days of soaking me thinks! Car seems to have escaped the stench or is it that I have become immune to it. Happy cleaning
  10. No probs Buddy!! See ya there!
  11. Be there from 9am or earlier if poss!
  12. Need a Lift for Sunday then Sky-Blu?
  13. Forgot to say, this would be good for me. Give me time to get hold of necessary stunt equipment and props for shoot.
  14. Not wrong there Rasga, though I did see a windsurf video once where this guy pulled a huge air and got the top metre or so of his mast sliced off by the camera copter. Followed soon after by a huge spanking once he hit the downdraft from the blades (Ouch) I don't think the budget would quite stretch to Helicopter Charter at this early stage.
  15. Doh!! Yeah see ya point, just call me mister thicky!! Woah full size copter now that would be somethin else?
  16. Yeah, at Wallop! The RC is fast but range limited so would have to follow with car aswell. Unfortunately stability is big prob, they tend to lurch under acceleration and braking, tip over on sharp turns with added weight of camera kit (High CoG doesn't help much!) and view point pretty limited. RC Helicopters now that's another bag of fun altogether, anyone got one?
  17. No Sunroof for top of car shot, but could always Gaffa Tape a deck chair up there for ya Trebor (Nice n Breezy!!) Let's get some possible dates together, to start of the online Strat meeting. Are we talking weekend only or more, if weather is right shouldn't see a problem in doing all this in couple of days max. I'm free most weekends at the mo so pretty flexible. Who's gonna start the bidding?
  18. LOL!! Yeah Rasga, gonna be a big project at this rate. Can never have too much footage though, gives us plenty options and variations. Hey we could have a box-set out by xmas LMAO
  19. Nice idea Freez, though getting hold of this kit could be more difficult, depends what we can come up with between us. Although I do know of a few places that might give us demo kit so I'll do some blagging. Anyone else able to do the same, beg n borrow different setups etc We need to collate the kit we got so far then work out what else we need to get this done.
  20. Greig, it's an Ex-Police T5, faster than a Ferrari 355 from 50-70mph. Fully loaded so far I've had 3 Buggies, 2 Mountain Boards, 2 Tents a selection of Kites, BBQ and food to sustain the 5 Passengers comfortably seated up front. (get that lot in your Ferrari Mr. Beckham) Oh and on the last road trip we also fitted in a Windsurf board, Mast and Two Sails, 3 Mountainboards, overnight luggage, wetsuits....etc, etc. I rest my case. P.S. - I'm never without the Black Labrador, Pipe, Slippers and Flat Cap
  21. Believe me it aint that clean anymore. Great suggestion about the kicker. Hey I could put some Roof Rails on then we could do 50/50 Boardslides. Put the Tailgate up for extra kick on the dismount Seriously though I'd be well up for using car in footage peeps doin tricks over it, that would be awesome. How dya fancy I mock up some Blue roof lights aswell and I know where to get the luminous police stickers they use on Motorway patrols then we could have Police Car Stunts as a video feature too http://dryhighs.co.uk/images/PoliceT5.jpg Make the Flexi sticker challenge look like childs play. LMAO. Any more suggestions.
  22. Thanx Bob, Beers @ Black Rock Trebor - Yeah Welsh Wales it is, and I do have a Volvo Estate (Don't laugh) so you could kind of say Yes to the Bus thing. http://dryhighs.co.uk/images/V70-T5.jpeg
  23. V. Sorry Bob Ok guys, when and where? Black Rock sounds like a good venue Rasga, just a case of can we get a plan together and sort out other logistics.
  24. Milkman?
  25. Guys there's opportunity here for several formats. Need to distinguish a kind of Training Starter Vid that can be used for Newbies on sheer basic stuff, looking at kit goin back/forth etc... Then you can separate more advanced stuff for an "Improvers" vid so they can transition onto tricks and look at styling it up a bit. These would be clear voiceover type vid for tutoring. Then if you video the whole making of the videos and turn it into a real "Road Trip" type of thing, this would appeal to people wanting to see general ar$ing about on and off the boards, with or without kites and all the out take type stuff which would be pure comedy value. Mix it with some tunes and bobs your uncle.
