  1. .....an Lei? I assume that means a leading edge inflatable kite. If it does then you have misread my post. I'm considering using the power kites bar for a Lei control bar. I've been told by Flexifoil it's best to get another bar which is strange because it looks like it's made from the same spec as the storm control bar.... Cheers JK
  2. I don't know if the bullet 3.5m control bar could be used for kitesurfing, i'm thinking it would be like the storms control bar if the lines and depower stystem set up in the same way. Am I right or should I get myself another control bar set up for kitesurfing? Image of Control bar for bullet 3.5 Flexi description with image Control Bar for 2.5, 3.5 (60cm) and 4.5 (65cm) 2-line control system with brake lines for safety leash and landing Carbon construction and a 2mm EVA foam grip provide optimum strength to weight ratio Pulley system for effective 2-line steering Re-ride wrist strap safety system that uses rear/brake lines to disable kite JK
  3. I've got a bullet to develop my kite skills on land for Kite surfing. It's a great kite to fly because I know if the wind is too strong I can rely on the saftey leash to pull the brake lines when I let go of the bar cutting out the power completely. I used this saftey feature last weekend when I was in swanage. I was landing the kite and It powered up by itself and span so I had no control. I let go of the bar immediately and the leash tugged the kite into a ball of kite material that gently fell to the floor. My question to all those bladers out there is this. Do Blades cut out as effectivley as Bullets if things get out of control? I'm asking because I'm entertaining the idea of upgrading to a blade 4.9 because the reviews tell me it's more exciting. what's your opinion? Johnny K
