    Looking at a second hand Atom (2007) as my first non-Foil Depowerable. Like the look of the ION2-3-4 but have not got the budget. I saw an Atom 7m being put through its paces on Camber Beach recently (in 25mph) and it looked very good. Is this a good next-step Depowerable for a Landboarder with basic competence??

    After landboarding yesterday with an Axess XC 8m in 12mph (badly) I was fortunate to borrow a circa-2003 Naish 12m kitesurf sail. Woweee! Probably the first time that I have felt comfortable with both board and kite, after 2 years of trying. I found that I could get upwind so easily I had to deliberately try to go downwind. What a difference!!! Definitely want to get a Kitesurf sail but the obvious question is which one? I was trying a 12m C-kite and really quite liked it. It was very well mannered and easy to bring the power in and out again. Ions, Waroos etc are SLEs (I think) and I do like the look of these. I know how to handle the kites but I am still a bit rigid on the board. Would an Ion or a Waroo be a good choice, or should I be looking for a C-kite? Any advice gratefully received.

    Hi all, It has taken a while for me to realise that messages sent from my work computer were not actually being sent. Apologies then to astromex, ozone_axess_xc and karsten, all of whom I have tried to send messages asking them to finally confirm their offer and to arrange shipment or collection. Must be something to do with the office Firewall. Anyhow, apologies again because the kite has now sold via means other than the forum. Next time I'll pay more attention to the "sent messages" folder.

    Bump. The kite is a standard Rage petrol colour scheme. Try this link; http://www.flexifoil.com/shop/traction/kites/rage/rage_traction_kite_1_8m/ and select "Petrol" as the colour scheme. The page says Rage 1.8m but the kite for sale is a 3.5.

    Have been looking at the Waveriders site today for a course possibly in the New Year. One positive comment about Waveriders above. Has anybody else been away with them? What did you think?
