Brighton is good for flying but their is no sand only pebbles so you would have to be mad or brave to even attempt to board. My mates and I tend to go to Telscombe Cliffs which is just along the coast from Brighton just off the coast road big open expanse of grassland will steady clean air and short ish grass. For other ideas give airbornkites.co.uk a call as they will know of other places in the Brighton area.

Have been flying a blade 6.4 for a while and have purchased a VPS kit I am 6 foot and 13 and a half stone what harness would be appropriate for kiteboarding????

Ahh Andrew (AKA Broken Bob)my anonimity is broken my code name is corrupted I must now move away and change my appearance. Sorry forgot to mention your new toy (Blade2 9mtr) Tried calling you last night about boarding but only got you answerphone. Might see if I can try out a little devil as I am quite tempted to try one of these Ozones as I have heard good things about them.

weaponxrob I have managed to attached the display to the axle but am having problems with he sensor at the end of the wire as there is nothing to attach it to so that it is within 2cm of the magnet on the wheel

I have got a blade 6.4 which is great for those low-medium wind days and my mates have a selection of kites for all types of wind which I borrow. I am after one for myself as I might be moving due to a change in job. My mates currently have a 3.2 mtre C-Quad, 4 metre blade, 2.5 metre bullet, 5.5 mtre Firebee plus smaller stackers etc I am after something different. I was looking at getting a 3 metre buster which seems to have a wide wind window (7-25mph) compared to my blade (4-18 mph from windthings website) what do you guys think???

I might be moving to the Milton Keynes area shortly due to a job move, will drop a message when I move there as need to find a location for flying and boarding!!!! otherwise I will suffer major withdrawal systems and waste away.

Do you guys know if the 10" tyre will fit on an easy rider trucks. Also can the tyre fit on the standard hubs for the 8" tyres that come with my board. I don't really want to use the steel hubs due to the extra weight they will add. Foxylittledevil, where did you get your tyres from?

I bought a speedo from woolworths for £4.99 which has 9 functions (i think) average speed, max speed etc. Having problems trying to mount in on the board tho. Flyin Scotsman you mentioned a bracket could you take a photo? and how did you attach the magnet to the wheel?

Thanks for that might get myself a few and give them a try for when I swap between freestying / freeriding. About these cylindrical shapes from Kheo and exit are they any good and where can you get them from? Also is there any difference between the MBS and Scrub egg shocks apart from price?

I bought a Scrub easy rider about a month ago and after finding the board a bit too twitchy put in the egg shocks that came with the board which has sorted out the turning. I was looking on a few websites and saw that you could buy MBS egg shocks orange and yellow egg shocks which give a different feel. I also noticed you could buy scrub egg shocks in soft, normal and hard. I was wondering 1. What egg shocks do I currently have (soft, hard etc) and how can you tell the difference if they are all black and 2. are there any other egg shocks you can buy and where from.

Just wondering what is considered the maximum tyre pressure for my 8inch tyres on my easy rider without the inner tube bursting within a day. Should different tyre pressures be used depending on my weight (I'm 14 stone), terrain, kite boarding etc.

Just wondering as you guys seem to know about VPS and Crossover. I have just bought a VPS kit for my 6.4 and was wondering whether initially instead of rebridling the whole kite could I just attach the brake lines to the central line and the power lines to each end of the bar??? to give the bar a go Also the VPS instructions mentions Crossover lines are these the same as in the cross over kit i.e could I set the kite up with only these if I wanted to???

Should have checked the forum again before heading out for Easter. Bought the Kheo set which okay I knew where cheap but thinking they must be okay as Kheo had stuck their name on them, but low and behold after only two spills the knee pad broke!!!!!!!!!!! refund i think!! Bit of a bad day alround as my mate just bought a new flexifoil board and the binding stinking broke after only a couple of go's. Think after pay day I will pay the price for some more robust safety gear as recommended.

Just got myself a scrub board to use with my kite and am looking to get some elbow pads etc as no doubt I will enjoy a few rough landings!!!! Any ideas on what makes are particularly good or any that I should stay well clear of? Also any particularly good sites to buy them from?
