  1. cheers dude - that's just the kinda answer i was lookin for. yippeee. we're all going on a...... summer holiday..........!!!! thanks fairchin
  2. yeah - our flights were 360 for 3 of us from bristol to Pisa. ideal.
  3. Hey I was wondering if anyone could tell me if it is worth me taking my kiting stuff to Italy on holiday? I am going to the west coast near Pisa and I'm not sure if there is a lot of room on the beaches there or which way the prevailing wind blows (if at all in the summer!?). Any help would be appreciated... thanks fairchin
  4. Hello I am looking for some advice on where to go in Wales for a week of long flat beaches and isolation in order to get away from the busy, regulated and ban-intensive South west....! I'd like to rent a cottage, near (or even on!) the beach for family and friends but my welsh geopgraphy is cr*p... Any tips welcome.. Thanks for your help
  5. Of course, the ozone is cheaper than a phantom by some margin if I were to buy RTF....... Would it be fair to say the Phantom 9 is comparable to a frenzy 5 for power???
  6. Im about 13stone and thought that the Phantom may be the way to go...... Hmmmmm.... Another extravagance! Still, could prob get away with buying kite only..... Thanks guys...
  7. Hi Its coming to that time of year when the winds are frequently 25mph+ on the North Devon coast and I want to avoid disappointment and maximise opportunity by getting another kite! At the moment,I have a 15m G1 and a 5.3 Pred II so need to add to my quiver with something a bit more manageable in more blustery conditions. Its really only going to be used for landboarding. So, Im considering either a smaller Blade III (3m perhaps) or an Ozone Samurai - probably on a b ar but not tried it so would appreciate any comments on bar vs handles on these. The other option is a smaller Phantom but i was concerned that in high winds, it will very fast and under powered in anything less than a gale! What other kites are worth considering? Please, any comments would be really appreciated as Ive already missed 2 days flying cos too much wind! Thanks a lot fairchin
  8. Nice one - thanks for that..... A really comprehensive answer!
  9. 'spose so, & I havnt really had a chance to use it much on the mtb yet but its got some nice lift at times so I think it'd be ok... In an ideal world, I'd 'ave chosen a Frenzy but, well...... I'd say my pred flies very similar a blade II 4.9 - not quite as graceful, perhaps..
  10. Sorry about that, my "kitebag" seems to have disappeared! I have a 4 line peel - 3.5 and a Predator 5.3 Thanks.
  11. Hi all... I need some advice... I am getting the hang of my mtb now and want to be able to set my 4 line kites up on a bar... Can someone please give some advice on the best way to do it? Thanks fairchin
