  1. Don't thank me, thank whoever uploaded them - the site is what everyone else makes it (saying that i've probably uplaoded half the pics - lol)!! Stacker and a blade - silly people! Would like to see it though!
  2. lol, where the hell did you get that idea? They might stack, but you'd probably lose loads of power and speed and turning ability. OK, so you can stack blades (there is a pic on my website somewhere), but you shouldn't try and 'cross breed' kites - i doubt it'd work in most cases - lol!
  3. Discussed? Don't you mean over-discussed - it's been done so many times - even i started a thread about it once - lol;)
  4. I have flwon my Blade II 4.9m around 5-6 times and with enough wind find it pretty easy to get good air (loadsa pics of me on my website last time i went up to selsley). I just try to brace myself as good as possible on the ground (you need shoes with good grip when on grass or u'll scud), get the kite at the edge of the window where it doesn't generate enough pull to drag me out of the brace position, but so it satill gives enough pull (knowing when enough is "enough" takes a bit of time to get used to) then i quickly turn it, and when it is in the middle of the window swing it upwards and when i feel the most upward lift, i jump (if it hasn't taken me already)! Pretty easy for me, i'm only 11 stone;) Tried the pendulum as well, but haven't got the hang of that yet:p
  5. winds looking pretty damn windy for the next few days - around 30mph at Selsley apparently so dunno whether or not i'll be taking it out:confused:
  6. I have a blade II 4.9m and can't land it for sh!t! However, get a harness and landing the baby is a breeze - 100% of landings with a harness (thanks uggits friend chris for leting me try it out:D ) have been perfect! Landing normally i usually make it spin like a yoyo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The blade II 4.9m is a beast of a kite IMHO. Haven't got the hang of flying it in high winds yet though (so the choice of insurance over harness was an excellent idea..... )!!! If i was you - only fly it by yourself in light to moderate winds where you know you won't get mullered by it - knowing your limits comes with experience, often learnt the hard way!!
  7. haven't flown many kites so limited in what i say but probably the blade II 4.9m, or the PKD century 3m.
  8. damn that beach looks amazing! Shame i dont have a local beach like that - but Selsley is pretty damn good - thank god i'm so closae to such a great flying site!
  9. differants? Is that some kind of outer-mongolian army ant species? But i think he's trying to get at someone having flown a blade II & III and not noticing much difference.

    and thats just sad
  11. pretty easy to recover if it luffs - it takes a while to get used to it but it doesn't take too long. Just getting used to using the kite properly and all that now and when u've learnt u get so much more from it. Thought i knew a lot after flying a super10 for a year and a 6.4 blade II a few times - now i know how wrong i was, and how much i've learnt in the poast few weeks from the guys up @ selsley (cheers guys;) ) - finally getting the hang of it - and so much left to learn
  12. that's the most annoying thing with the blade, when the sides tangle themselves up in the bridles and luff themselves. Give a quick tug and they sort themselves out usually tho!
  13. i dont think the ends will fold in on themselves as much - the ends aren't as pointed as on the blade I and II
  14. here here!

check out the "B!tch!" thread in the Chit-Chat forum!
  17. now that'd REALLY make a kite worth buying;)
  18. nice! are those two girls in your signiture in a frenzy over the frenzy? they certainly look like it......
  19. yeah the bug3r looks ok for me as well now. this internet lark is so annoying at times:confused:
  20. looks like we spoke too soon - the |3ASTARD thing is playing up AGAIN! This really is p!ssing me off - it keeps going down! I'll be having words with my host, dont you worry............ *storms off muttering under his breath*
  21. nope - all working perfectly! check out this link (it's one of your videos) worked fine for me - beautifully streaming! http://kites.skrunge.co.uk/details.php?image_id=58
  22. ummmmmm not that i know of - if my 'kites.skrunge.co.uk' image is there in my signiture that says the site is up, although there may be exceptions. As they are hosted on your webspace - is your server down or not? I'll go and have a butchers and get back to you in a few minutes..........
  23. so am i - but i wanna learn to getting it up to the top of the wind window without getting killed in the process so i can take advantage of higher winds and thus bigger air!
  24. Great flying at selsley - especially when learning to launch kites in highwinds using the a$$ scudding method - i'll be learning from the masters;)
  25. i'll give it a go - i want it in higher winds because if i can get it up without dragging me on my face (and the kite subsequently crashing) i can get more air:D :D I'll give it a go - not as if i'm going to end up anywhere i haven't been pulled before, unless it pulls me off the hill;)
