We were under the impression that it was broken. That's what he told us. I wasn't about to stand there and play doctor on him without calling for help first. Maybe things are different in Britain, but I was raised under the assumption that when someone is injured, you don't try to treat them yourself unless you're lost in the woods or stuck on a mountain somewhere. The understanding is that if someone has a broken bone, you don't try to move them, you call for help, then you keep them warm and alert. And, as I understand it, you don't feed them. It wouldn't even have occurred to me to do things any differently Most of these were done with a Blade 1 4.9 m. The kitedragging.avi video was a 3m Bee Cheers

Kite killers would have been very helpful on the day that that snow video was filmed (Randy.avi). I ended up having to ditch the Blade in a row of trees and spent about an hour trying to get it out. The second half of the video, where I'm getting air, was filmed behind the trees, in an area that was sheltered from the wind. It was just too windy on the big field. On the first run I did on the main field before we brought the camera out, I got picked off the ground from a sitting position and somehow did a 360 in the air, against my will. It happened so fast I couldn't even remember how it felt, but apparently I looked like a rag doll. But it's all in good fun Mark sprained his ankle. When I called 911, they wanted to know the cause of the injury, and I told them, and then the ambulance took quite a long time to get there

It's a 4.9. I would've been better taking my 3m Firebee that day though, it was too windy to get the flexi under control

Last week here in the Toronto area we got hit with the first decent snowfall of the year. I took my Blade I down to take advantage of the soft landings before the wind had a chance to blow all the snow off the field. Hi there, Just wondering if anyone knows why the kite killers at Coastguard Kites are 15 quid, whereas the ones at Trick of the Eye are only 5? Are the ones at Coastguard of greater quality in some way?

Does anyone know of any sites with pics of the Blade mk1 line, or info about it? I find it very difficult to find, probably due to the difficulty of distinguishing between the two for search engines..

Okay, well put it this way, how would it compare to a Bee for jumping? Because that's the only kite I've jumped with
