hi kite-kid for my GCSE project my problem use to use the wind to do something. basical a kite board has been done and it is not a new idea, so unless you can get a radically new idea you will not get as gooder mark. i had the idea of a kite board but i did not do it because instead i make a land yacht. oh yer, the seat broke and the mast did not fit in the mast step. one of my friend made a mountain board, with a new idea. it had 1 big wheel at the back and small wheel at the front. the problem he had was with the steering. it did not work well at low speed because it was not a 'leaning' board. instead he push or pulled the back wheel around. i do not no what your problem is. but a little tip is not to say your problem is to design and make a kite board but to say to design and make some thing that id pulled by a kite. it means you cam put a lot more ideas down. hope this is helpful. peter

i don't have an ATB but i want to get one. is the 3m bee a good kite(i have one) to use with an ATB or do i need to get a bigger one. also the the air-s a good beginers board. cheer peter

does anyone know when they are coming out and how much they are. also will they be good for beginers. or should i bgo for some thing more like a khoe air-s or scudda easier ride. also what is the point of that wierd shape. peter

i don't kite board, wake board or anything except for fly my bee. but i want to get a kite board. anyway i throught you could put a couple of long fin the lenght of the board and i think it should add grip so you could go up wind. all they should not snap or break if they are small enough. what do you think? peter

the scud is a bit too expnsive. sorry the mongoose sounds like a good deal but you are a bit far away. how far are you from guildford. do you live near barnstaple? how heavy is the mongoose? cheers peter

i am looking for a 2nd hand board that is good for a beginner. preferly a kheo air-s or some thing like it. the cheaper the better. cheers peter
