  1. coolnuts with a wing that will take you to nearly 6times the speed of the wing think it is quite extreme, do the maths at only 20mph winds. these speeds are measured in finland on snow. nearly forgot the longest jump is about 120 meters
  2. the reason the wing ould have been a nightmare on the water is because it is not designed for the water. well done if you managed it though
  3. i have a 4.8 monofilm if you want one, Ex-demo. they are fine with gusts, you can use them with a harnes as you would with windsurfing, i have never tried toeside with them but it might be a dit tricky. they come with a transport bag about 180cm long an as wide as a football maximum, i only ever fly them wien the wind is 30+ but they ar good from 20mhp. the difference between normal (4.8m2) and snow (3.5m2) is the size. the snow also ony comes in dacron the 4.8 comes in dacron and monofilm. take it easy and let me know if you want a cheap one. James
  4. i have the 10.5 B3 and when i first got it is felt odd but when the wind came along it was the best well stable and super strong. i have noticed that if i fly it in winds that are not strong enough the kite dose not perform. but when the wind comes out even at only 10mph it is the best.
  5. i have broke an air-s and a out back fury but my comp 16 is the best i have ever tried. dont break and rides like a dream. there is nothing better in my view but i am only one person.
  6. i ride the 4.8 7.8 and 10.5 blades in the sea but, which i prity much learnt with as did my friend, inflatibels are naff they are just big boyancy aids. do not do it unless you are very good at swiming or never crash kites. also i learnt on a 143cm baord and found it easier then trying a friends 6ft one mainly cos i could move it easyier. please excuse my spelling
  7. if you go to lancing beach (between shorham and worthing) there is a good area with a hill which makes good jumps, you get loads of kite surfers there too. there is no sand just grass but grass is better anyway and the wind is clean.
  8. i do try my hardest, next time i get some work in your direction i will be incontact with you all. i can do some new tricks that look great when i do them right and better when i get them wrong. what is the name of that mag that met you all at ponti the other day and what address do i need to get a subscription. James
  9. yes i behave a bit when the wind is gusting but when it is steady i go big. good to here you are still off the weed
  10. steady winds on the south coast when you have the south west wind direction. i bet i am not the only person that flys big kites in big winds, i would bet the guy at wind things is in the same wind if not more. then there is criss cowthorp i would not fly a 6.4 in what he dose with the 7.8
  11. that is why i brought the 10.5 last week
  12. am i sure... i have a wind speed meter that i am sure is accurate as most people that fly in the same weather are on the 4.9 or smaller. i ride on a mountain board and like to fly high and long so i need the wind. i weigh 13.4 stone
  13. 4.9 blade2 on two lines 30-38mph, 7.8 blade on two lines 25mph, 10.5 blade3 not sure yet. all kites on two lines so i can not wimp out
  14. i am gonna set mine up on two lines but i am gonna stick with the cabrinha bar. dont care much for breakes they only slow you down.
  15. just ordered a 10.5 Blade III, red colour too so it shold look good. pics will follow of the crazy stuff it can make me do, here is to the 30+ ft jumps
