  3. Great condition no repairs! Awesome kites, have loved every minute of these, nice and grunty! I weigh 85kg, ride a 132cm Lost Cause and use them in 10 to 30 knots! 9m Green and Yellow 12m Green and Yellow 16m Mainly White, black struts and leading edge. 2 sets of 5th Element bar and lines although i have just broken one steering line right at the end, It's repairable or just get a new length of line. Other bar and line set is fine. Both well used. £500 the lot. neil.fordham@btinternet.com
  4. Mine went tits up today! Do i have to take the 2 halves of the wheel apart (3 allen bolts in 3 spokes) to get the old bearings out??? if so do the tyres have to come off??? Board is a MBS ambush warrior, will skate bearings fit??? Thanks in advance Neil
  5. If your good with good technique and riding in just board shorts i.e. hot weather then, the waist is for you, if none of these, especially the bit about being good, then get the seat, you can hold a little more power with a seat and if your just beginning then the kite will spend alot of time above you at the zenith (pulling your harness up) so having a seat will help keep this from happening. I'm also told that what ever you choose first you tend to stick with in future, i ride a seat and have often thought of changing, the 2 are very different and it will take a while to adjust from one to the other. Hope this helps Regards Neil
  6. Tried the Frenzy Saturday not enough wind, so i went to West Wittering on Sunday and there was to much wind approx 20 knots, used Newboys 9,5 Frenzy and still a bit over the top especially as i'm just getting used to that type of kite. Lovely kite though, Cheers Daz Going to Hayling Island tomorrow Kitesurfing, can't wait!!! Regards Neil
  7. Hi Darren, Neils here, read your post about the 9m, just had a chat to Newboy, he will help you set it right if your having problems. I just found out I'm sorry to say I made a mistake with reference to the tuning of it by Chris Calthrop it was his new 6.6m Blade 3 that Chris sorted out for him as it wasn't flying well, i apologize, i really thought it was the 9m he took to him. Hope you get it sorted or maybe it's not quite what your used too?? Newboy always seemed to have hours of fun with it. Regards Neils
  8. Good chance it was Steve, if so he is already sponsored and as for putting Aaron Hadlow to shame, well lets just say your looking at a future World Champion there if not this years! the Kid rocks, no disrespect to Steve but i think your under estimating Aaron, Neils
  9. Been thinking of shaping a board from Marine ply for a while, even though i have 2 Litewave boards 169 and 148. What do you think the best finish or coating should be, Varnish, Paint or is their something else i could use. Don't know anything about fibre glassing! Thanks Neils
  10. Great now i've got that all sorted i can get on with getting up wind. Thanks again Neils
  11. Can someone please help me here, when i power up by pulling the bar towards me, is it correct that the tips should stay parallel when fully powered? Because i've had mine setup thinking that when the bar is pulled right in and the tips flare this is full power. I'm now led to believe that this is over sheeting and will stop the kite flying efficiently. This maybe one of the reasons i'm am struggleing with going up wind and why the kite stalls out of the bottom turn when sinning the kite up and down. Help!! All comments greatly appreciated Neils
  12. I have just bought a new North Rhino II 12m to complement my 16m Rhino II, only trouble is the bars weren't available at the time, so i bought the kites only. Been using an old wipika bar but now feel i could use an upgrade!! Whats good and working well? i.e. leash attach, quick release systems, reride. Cheers
  13. Try http://www.kitesurftheearth.com Ask for Charlie, a cool chick that used to ride at Hayling with us. Regards
