  1. Handles are great. I've frayed the lines a bit but there still holding.... I just got in my second set of handles and lines and will be putting my radsail pro III 7.0 up on ebay. I wish EOLO would communicate more with it's customer base. All my Radsail Gear is A+ but I've had questions regarding bridles and there website, but they dont ever reply back. Flexifoil cares about there customer base and it shows however EOLO is a "HANDS-OFF" company. If you have questions, you have to bring it up with the store you bought the kite from, not Radsail. I'll keep buying these handles until another player adds a winder into theirs, but for the Kites, I'm done.
  2. For kite control Radsails are awesome turn on a dime performance. I own the Radsail PRO III 7.0 also. Hell I might as well call it the Radsail PRO XXIX with the lack of support you will get after buying it. My gripe is with the Company as a whole. I've sent several emails to EOLO and Radsails.com (using there webform) to explain the II vs III vs IV debate, bridle differences, why I cant create an account on their own forum, why are they ignoring all my emails, and never got an answer back from them. I feel like the company made a great kite but now I'm on my own. I'm putting it up on ebay now for this reason alone..
  3. Flexifoil uses a softer/thicker rubber for there handles. Radsails handles are dipped hard rubber handles. They have a gritty texture to them that are great if you have sweaty hands, but not gentle on the fingers. I have no issues with this but for those who like a Flexifoil feel, it would be a show stopper. I say if you have sensitive hands, toss on a pair of gloves. =) I picked up a Pansh ACE 8.0 used my Radsail handles on that too, added a knot halfway down my bower lines (ACE's hate breaks), and UP she went! I dig these handles . It's the EASY WIND feature that makes these handles. It's just 30 seconds top's to WIND and UNWIND your lines. It will spoil you on how easy this thing is.
  4. I did shake my head the first time I saw the color choice for the line sleeves. Once you pull the lines out, its really easy to know which lines are LEFT & RIGHT. Maybe Using RED/BLUE & WHITE lines would be to British or USA'ish. I think Pansh's choice in LINE color is: REDLIGHT = STOP (breaklines) GREENLIGHT = GO (powerlines)
  5. Thanks for the honest non bias review. I just got my ACE8.0 Also, Ive only flown her twice so far. After loosening my breaklines the ACE woke up like you said. I'm 17stone and the ACE8.0 lofted me with no issues at all. I see what you mean about cant be flown on a bar. The ACE definatly requires a new flying stile as break line turning is lmost useless on this guy. Maybe a crossover bridle mod as used in the Radsail PRO's is in order?
  6. Great revie, love the pictures. You make me want to go online and buy one now!
  7. I have a RP7.0 also mainly because anything over 30mph is rare. I don't know of any PowerKite that can handle that kind of wind safely. I wouldnt even Fly my Grandmas Triangle Kite in those winds
  8. They feel so solid I was thinking of grabbing a Pansh Ace 12m with another set of these radsail pro handles.
  9. I'm impressed with what I've read and seen from the Pansh line. My next kite is going to be a Pansh 4sure. Competition is good and I hope they wake up the rest of the kite industry.
  10. Congratz on the Ace purchase! try and get some pictures together. Also, try running tighter break lines before doing the AoA mod.
  11. Recently bought a Radsail Pro II 7.0m Kite and wanted to comment on the: Radsail Pro II handles w/End Caps. Upon opening my bag you cant help but look and pause on these things, they are thick and beefy. The thickness of the handles with molded rubber top ends to assist with grip. What Truly stands out from ALL other handles is Radsails use of two molded end caps for Line wrapping. They take what has only been seen in flight bars and creates a Hybrid line management system for Handles. After several sessions I must say that unwinding flight line from these handles is a treat and gets me flying sooner where I would be untangling still using the conventional wrapping of lines around my handles technique. The Lines themselves are color coded RED & BLUE for easy set up. When my Rad7 pulls, it Pulls like a train and rings these handles out in a hurry. I Have a couple large paws and I must say they feel solid on these handles and I have no fear of breakage like some of the Flexifoil handles have done. https://www.extremekites.org/uploads/rk/reviews/2043_RadSailsHandleLineTumor.jpg After some time I have noticed that the backline of my breaks is pushing out of the sleeve like a small nylon tumor. It doesn't effect flight as its the back break line which is not attached to the kite but I thought it worth mentioning. In conclusion I think Radsail handles are solid and up to the job for any kite you throw at them. People with small hands will need to judge for themselves if these tubes are too big..... In time my back break line tumor may spread into the tube itself and I will need to replace it. But I don't see that happening for a long time. By : Somoney
  12. False advertisement, and this reviewer bit. If Pro III's exist Someone better contact EOLO then because they only list PRO II's on there product line up.
  13. I haven't heard of these material tears before. But Radsails does sell a harness specific for buggy use. Maybe angle of pull against the thong? (lol) A Dakine harnesses while superior in build quality have sizes. The Radsail's one size fits all so you can pass along to your buddy regardless of waist size which is great. It does really come down to convenience in the end. If you want to introduce a group of friends to power kitting, then the Radsail harness is the way to go. If your going at this sport solo, you have no need for re-adjustments, so get a Dakine in your size.
  14. Good review, Ive seen Radsails stall and luff at their Zenith on YouTube. I think you hit the nail on the head with break line adjustment when this happens frequently. When tuning the kite for Jump performance your comments on break line adjust will help many.
