  1. The only one left in my size was houndstooth which looks unusual but I think I like it. Have a bright green one on the way for my daughter.
  2. Got that Giro helmet today-like the way you can adjust the sizing to suit via dial at back. Thanks for the heads up.
  3. Have seen and flown this kite, great condition, compared well with the Oxigens.

    Pansh Ace 5m!

Good guy to deal with, bought from him in the past.
  5. I have an 8m I use for buggying and if I was buying a second Access it would be a 10m, not a 6m.
  6. Just the info I was looking for Mikey, many thanks. Haven't tried fitting mine yet, this gives me more confidence.
  7. The strap is odd, it takes a right angle turn an inch or so from the edge of the seat resulting in it being vertical rather than horizontal. I can't work out why it was done, more manufacturing work and seems like worse result. My immediate thought is just to unpick the last couple of inches back to where it turns, then stitch it straight.
  8. Mind if I pick your brains? Just got new RS seat and backrest. The straps coming from top of seat are vertical, not horizontal as I was expecting. What way do you strap these onto siderails/ backrest?? If you strap sideways onto siderails, the stitching will be under strain and will give way eventually?
  9. There is a definite ban on traction at Portstewart. Castlerock can be used but only if it is really quiet and as Benone is so close, probably better going there. A few guys use Greencastle near Kilkeel although I have never been there so can't comment on wind conditions etc.
  10. Contact them and explain the error- you will sleep easier in your bed and enjoy flying the kite so much more.
  11. Love the UDS II on my Oxi 7.8.

    Armpit Rash!!

We may be confusing a few related things which aren't exactly the same. Here's my penny's worth- I work in dermatology. Fungal infection is possible but is unlikely to be both armpits at once (treat with creams from chemist, Selsun is an anti-fungal treatment). Irritation from chemicals is unlikely as this would be just as true in a normal day as one spent kiting. (In my experience changing washing powder rarely helps skin problems as modern washing wachines are very good at rinsing residues, old style machines may have left some behind) To my mind physical irritation ie rubbing is the culprit here. Looking at your clothes to ensure they aren't adding to the problem is worthwhile. You either need them very close- fitting ie rash vest, or loose fitting enough so that they stay free of the problem area. Talc is probably of benefit as long as you don't sweat a lot, it can cake with the moisture and add to the problem. If you do find the irritation there, slap on lots of moisturising creams.
  13. Ribs can take ages to become non painful, even when no actual break you can still have some pain a month after injury.
  14. I think even I understand how to adjust, nicely explained andya. Have to say I am very happy at how my Ace flies, enough lift for me, doesn't luff and window is fine, so I probably won't fiddle- I think I have just been a bit lucky!
