i had been mountain boarding for a while and had decided to get a power kite for it so i went to skegness for a day to try a few kites at one of the kite days. in the end i decided on the rage 2.5m first impresions it came in a nice bag which if packed correctly can hold a packed lunch or something aswell as the kite. the kites build is brill from what i no. the kite killers looked good quality so did the handles. in flight the first time i used it was on a windy-ish day at skegness. it launched fine, rose to the top of the window with no trobble at all and sat there. when i lowered it into the powerzone it went through quickly with huge pull. after that i broke my arm(not kiting) and couldent do any thing for ages, when i got back i used it on the top of a hill with hardly any wind. when the winds lower i have to launch it with someone holding up so it inflates better. even with little wind it still pulled hard and was dragging me. the kite is very stable and does what ever you tell it to do. but. in the low winds it started to fold at the edge of the window. but im sure it wasnt windy enongh for the kites size. i then used it with higher winds, 15 miles an hour or so. i can get moving fine on the board with this kite and i feel perfectly in control. i no its ment to have reduced lift but i can still jump using the penjulim method. conclusion i think this is a great kite if you want to use it for learning to board or if you dont like to jump. it produses huge pull, not much lift but you can still jump with it. i payed £200 for it and it think it is average value. the quality is great and it flys brilliantly. go and buy one By : polkey
