Hello all. As a Brighton resident I have often wondered why there are no kitesurfers here. I assumed it was banned in the area but after a recent call to the waterfront agency I was told no ban was in place, and that I was free to kitesurf either side of the two piers. It can obviously be rammed in summer making it completely unsuitable, but often during the colder months the beach is deserted. I know there was once a kitesurfing school opposite Hove lagoon. I am particularly interested in trying the area between the marina and the palace pier (the one currently in use). Does anyone have any experience kitesurfing in these areas? Have I missed something that would make this a terrible idea? Thank you all!

Hi everyone, rookie question coming up but you'll have to forgive me, I haven't flown a kite in years! I have a 2008 slingshot FUEL lying about from 2008. Can it be flown with 4 lines? If so, how? Do you need a bridle or similar? I have looked online but there doesn't seem to be any info, probably because its so old. Thank you!

Bought a while ago but rarely used, as a result still in good condition. One leading edge repair (see photos) which included a new bladder. That was over a year ago and everything has been working perfectly since, no leaks in the bladder. The bag is included however the zip at the bottom is broken. The bag still works fine so no need to buy a new one. I included some pics and a kite world review that should tell you everything you need to know but if you want more please PM me. Hi everyone, I currently have a 4 line vari condor bar and am looking for a way to avoid buying a 5 line bar so I can use it fly my north Vegas. Is it possible to buy a new base line section of the bar that o can simply attatch to my current bar in order to make it compatable with 5 lines. Like a base section to which I can connect 5 lines to. Thanks alot!

thanks alot both of you, really helpful. The bit that has split is not the actual rubber tube connecting the strut bladder to the leading edge. Its the clear rubber nozzle thing at the base, you cant pump it up from there or anything it just connects the black rubber tube to the leading edge.

Im currently flying a vari condor with a one pump system. The rubber valve that connects the leading edge to the strut has split, meaning air can flow out. The kite stays resonably inflated for around 30 mins but after that it becomes un-flyable. Is there a fix for the rubber valve, its split on the lower section, below the nozzzle on the edge of the valve. Thanks alot

Hi, I am not new to kiting but previously i just stood still and jumped. I have recently decided to try landboarding....its going great but i still have a few questions. I find it far easier to go left foot foward and facing the kite, no problem in one direction but what about the other direction? Do you simply pilot the kite to the other side and go off right foot foward or are you meant to turn round and go left foot forward? When i do this you cant face the kite, so im not sure what to do!! Thanks alot

If i were to keep the 4 line system, or if not for use on my other kites how do i know if my kite is rigged correctly? should all 4 lines be taught or lines be the same length etc. Thanks for the help

Hi, do any of you know if there is any way to convert the vari condor bar in to a 5 line bar rather than a 4 line bar? Also where is the leash attatchment point? Thanks in advance!!
