  1. Well being a kite addict i would say i never stops thinking about my next flight - but the sad truth is that i was quite drunk after a x-mas dinner Yea within the next 8 days i would know wether or not i need to get a surgery or if it recovers correctly - so fingers crossed //M
  2. Blah fell down some stairs last night - the result is now a broken collar bone, hopefully i dont need surgery - but it would seem i wont be flying more this yaer Pics and video will be on hold for a while //M
  3. Yea i thought so - would make good sense this site being a Australian site Yea i will - but theres not many MBT shop around here in Denmark //M
  4. Ahhh ok then Uhm ok - it dosnt seem that much to me here in denmark - but i guess its kinda hard to compare the price across the world But thx for the advice //M
  5. Thanks for your reply's Well i must say the ones i have now (Or rather its my wife's) a quite similar to the one .Joel posted - i guess i just a little afraid if they would stay on my knees when i fell and then get dragged @SoutherlyBuster Oh year i actually did read you review a couple of month ago - thank you for bringing it back to my mind @JKS Well i think theyre worth taking another look at - it dosnt matter if theyre abit bulky as i allways travel with my biiiig kitebag in the car having a few trainers (Again my wife's), all my safety gear, a couple of harnesses, extra pair of pants etc "If you put your finger in the gap over the knee then stand up you will pinch your finger and have to run around in circles swearing." - Well I fail to see the point of doing so anyway Btw do they have a specific product name to search for? Edit: A google search got me this er those the ones you have? More thoughs on kneepads are more than welcome, price isnt really that much of a factor, safety first //M
  6. So i had a run the day before yesterday - the only word to describe it is "AWSOME"! If it was the new bigger kite, better concitions, the fact that i studied the Progression landboarding dvd or something else i dont know - but i really feel that im having alot easier going upwind, and general kitecontrol Hopefully i can get my wife to shoot some pictures this weekend (When shes recovered from her x-mas launch hangovers) Well next step is to learn how to powerslide - and heel-to-heel powerslide, being a rookie i still have alot to learn As you might see - im still quite excited about the access //M
  7. Hiya people As Im quite concerned of my genereal safety I think its time to get a pair of better kneepads than the K2 I bought for my vife when she was trying to learn rollerskating So in short - wich kneepads do you recommend and why? //M
  8. Yea - well i havnt been able to google any video's shot with a hero on a landboard, a snowboard, kiteboard, bike, gocart anything but a landboard - hence the question I know that i would be able to mount it on the board - but its not the problem, the problem is if the video shot with it would do any good due to the fact that a landboard generally are short compared to most other boards - meaning its closer to the feet Other than that i agree - i think it would be well worth the extra $ to get the HD //M
  9. Hiya So I was wondering if anybody have any comments on the new Hd Hero? I was wondering if i should put this on my wish-list for x-mas I would like to use it on the board - like padlers or kitesurferes does, but im abit unsure if the short board result in movies of just my hairy legs Anybody has tried a hero (Of any kind) on a landboard who can tell me if it works //M
  10. Thx alot for the tips on the access Yir it will spank me - and i know it will only be a matter of time before im getting the spanking, but on the other hand i normally use crash shorts, impact shirt, helmet, kneepads and leather gloves just to be abit more safe Well my car broke down monday so i guess i wont be flying this weekend //M
  11. So i got my access last week - having flown it only twice since i got it in extremly light winds <5ms I know for sure that it will most likely spank my ass alot faster and meaner than my 3,5 imp trainer I do know one needs to respect the forces that are working a kite this size but i must say i cant wait to take it out next time, still i wont be playing around with it in winds stronger than 7 ms - being only 75 kg i guess my wife would be sad if i one day take off heading to sweeden hanging from a kite Ive bought my last non-depowerable kite thats for sure -- now im just looking forward to getting up on the board powered by the access The turn speed one kite vs another i will not be able to say anything about, as i havnt flow any other kite, but i really like the access //M
  12. Yea i will Ive flown around 35 hours with my trainer, 15 of em on my ATB - so im familliar with the window and such - but ill be getting a few people to help my the first couple of times in the air //M
  13. So now im just waiting for the Access 2010 10m to arrive My very first depowerable kite - kinda stepping up from my 3,5 im p trainer Sry for kinda necroposting //M
  14. I have the same kite as you - ive bought a Ozone - 4 Line Bar Mono Swivel Chicken wich should fit right on the bar with a larks head knot - it hasnt arrived yet but i expect it will this week Oh and btw i think the imp trainer as a great kite for beginner landboarders as myself - i fly on beaches in 7-10 ms wind, still staying on the ground but reaching acceptable speeds - in time i will be moving to depowerable kites but for now and the next 100 hours the imp does the job fine Edit: Oh well old one topic - sorry >.< //M
  15. Its been a while since my last update Well i was out in around 8ms with my skikes - but sadly they do carve too much into the sand. Wich makes them kinda useless on beaches So i bought a mountain board (Scrub akashi) - mainly to use the rims, tyres and wheels on a pair of selfmade doomwheels It was cheeper to buy this than buying it seperatly So right now im just getting some fun out of mountainboarding - ill be making my doomwheels later this winter My very first time out on the board in decent wind //M
  16. Oh well seems im out of luck - the two places ive ordered the imp for my wife dosnt have it in stock (I hate when they dont update their webshop ) So i went out to try my skikes for the first time yesterday - sadly there was only 2-3ms - so i kinda stood quite firm on the ground, however it seems the skikes arend the best for kiting on sand, they kinda carved alot into the sand Oh and i just bought a scrub full face helmet kinda cheap (around 61 AIUD) - so hoping it will come shortly... I guess ive got allmost all the padding i need - though i could need some decent kneepads ^^ //M
  17. Ahh ok great The reason I'm asking, I found a nice offer on the imp for my wife, a chickenloop came along with the imp for around 35usd... However I don't plan on using it before I've gotten a solid grip on the kite while on the skikes Thx alot for all the help so far - I'm quite certain it won't be my last question //M
  18. Yea that was my though aswell Well i vertanly hope so as its less than 3 months since we got married Btw are you using harness or do you fly without it? //M
  19. So found a nice spot last sunday - the wind was good, the ground was firm, the direction was great - everything was good - besides i left all my safety gear at home >.< Well hoping to get time to fly this weekend then Btw ive just ordered a imp trainer 2,5m for my wife - she wants to fly for the fitness aspect //M
  20. Ahh thx alot I though so it makes alot more sense than the green line Well hoping for some good wind wind this weekend (And when i say good i mean very weak ) //M
  21. Ok ive read quite a few guides on how to get starting on my skates - and now im abit confused So when i start sit back against the wind. Kite laying at a 45 degree angel to the wind direction. Wich way should the skates point? Straight down win direction or at a 90 degree angel to the wind direction? Ive made kinda rouch drawing to show what i mean Wich would be right - the green or the blue line? //M
  22. So today i revieced my hill billy crash shorts - and i must say they look good... I guess ill be trying my first time on skates this weekend if the wind is weak enough //M
  23. so i got the package today - including the 1,3 m kite for my wife (Hoping she better understands when she's flying herself) However they has sent me hill billy crash shirt instead of the crash shorts :dntknw: So im still waiting for my crash shorts Hoping they just throw me a bargain on the shirt as i could use that as well //M
  24. Ahh thx for the heads up - however im not the belt kinda guy Still waiting for the HillBilly to arrive //M
  25. Well ive just ordered the Hill Billy Crash Shorts from uk Looking forward to recieving them //M
