  1. Couple of questions. Is it £120 posted and Is it with trucks and wheels or deck only?
  2. I can't help with your questions but have you got details for the festival please?
  3. For landboarding there's Port Solent that's not too far away, couple of decent sized fields opposite the car park. For kitesurfing lessons there's a school on Hayling island that's meant to be pretty good.
  4. Not alot at the moment, I'm going to wait until I have £350-£450 saved and then see what's about. I figure I should be able to get a pretty decent, fairly large depower with that amount. Plus by that time I'll hopefully be a bit more proficient with boarding. Anyway I really should get a board of my own before I think about another kite!
  5. That Manta is unfortunately way out of my price range at the mo, pennies are being saved for my next purchase though. Never thought kite flying would get this expensive lol.
  6. I'm still very tempted to get a bego 600 as they look a very well thought out design and I've not heard a bad word about them. Sadly I think my priority is a board as I currently just borrow a friends. I'm loving the Frenzy though, at the weekend I finally got the balls to take it out in some decent wind (15-20mph) and holy s**t, was getting some pretty damn big pendulum jumps and some scuds that felt like light speed.
  7. Lol nah, it's more for practicing the board. I'll see how I get on with it and then get a bigger depower or fixed bridle later.
  8. Cheers for the advice guys, so in summary either get a massive blade or don't bother and wait for a proper windy day when it's safer. I did get a new kite in the end though, I've now got an ozone frenzy 7.5 which I picked up cheap to practice boarding and depower instead. Gotta say I love the depower system, though flying with a bar takes a little bit of getting used to after handles.
  9. As summer is finally here I'm finding I need another kite for the days my 5m Beamer IV hasn't got the power for jumps. I weigh about 11.5st and am looking for a kite that can get me some decent jumps in 5-10 mph winds but useable sensibly(ish) up to about 15mph. After a bit of research I've kinda narrowed it down to either a Blade 3 6.6 or a Mac Bego 600. I'll be buying 2nd hand and both these are just about in my price range. Any thoughts on which would be better, or maybe some alternatives would be much appreciated.
