  1. Mr Ryco Is this still for sale.
  2. Been to the ostepath and he says very lucky not to have torn any major ligaments and that i just tore some muscles but getting better now and nearly walking so with luck like you guys have said either the 10m access in 10-15mph or the 6m in 15-20mph. Hope the winds are sweet next weekend and will give it a try (pads and helmet this time). Roll on the long summer nights and light winds.
  3. Cheers for the advise guys, Went out on Sun on board and tried it with the 3.5 rage in about 23/30 mph and it all sort of clicked all be it at about 60 degrees downwind to the wind about 4 x 300m runs and really felt comfortable but then got too cocky and started to pendulum jump with the 3.5 and got spanked on my 5th jump and heard a crack in my knee. osteopath today and only just started limping about now. I have learned my lesson now of dont jump before you can walk. hopefully its not to bad and will be back on by the weekend. Cheers anyway guys
  4. It does without much problem but just looking for the easiest way to go as my smaller kites are not strong enough in lite winds. Wouldn't mind trying one anyway, and it will mean having another kite which is never a bad thing. Cheers
  5. Anybody got any advise on buying a second hand inflatable kite to try lanboarding as was speaking to a couple of guys at the weekend who were flying these and said they were easier to learn to board on than fixed bridles. I have tried with a fixed bridle and was ok in straight lines but couldn't do much else without falling on my arse. I weigh 16 st so i know it will have to be a fair size. I have a 10m access II which i havent tried with the board yet so would appreciate any advise offered on size make etc. :DCheers:D
  6. How about a remote 3D heli, been flown about 5 times has three batteries with it and a proper simulator to practice on before you fly. Getting rid cause i didn't get into it.
  7. BooBoo Excellent kite and superb seller, Just like it said on the packet. thanks mate.:D
  8. Tobylerone Sent another Pm. If you could get back to me. Cheers Donnie.
  9. I have just bought a 6m ozone access and was wondered if anybody could advise me what winds to start learning in. I weigh 16 stone so quite a lot of pull required to get me going. I have tried it with the blade v 4.9 and hasd a couple of small supermans but managed to land on my feet, all be it without the board still attatched.
  10. Cheers for that Dave, i will definately look you guys up if i ever find anybody flying up there (seemed to just chase kites last week, l.o.l.) As i said i have never used a board with a kite before but i think i am alright at flying my kites but will give the board a go in France as the beaches outside Calais are empty at this time of year and there will be nobody to laugh at my efforts and dont want to embarrass myself when i come up for some lessons with you guys.(could always neck the 6 free bottles of wine to dull the pain:confused:). I'll keep an eye on the weather and the missus and myself will be intouch to sort something out. Speak to you soon. Donnie.
  11. Where about in Upminster are you guys flying as i dont know the area. I am going to France for the day flying on saturday as it was only £19 for the car the missus and myself for a day trip as i wanted to try the board out:D:D: and you get 6 bottles of wine:D and buy one get one free breakfast on the ferry but might be about on Sunday if the weather is in it.
  12. Was up to Frinton today and found the clocktower, I was only about 100 meters from it last time and didn't notice it. No kites up at about lunchtime but noticed a couple of larger kites at Holland but by the time I walked there they had gone. but was wondering if it is ok to fly on the beach at anytime or are there any restrictions/by-laws stopping you. Dont want to upset the locals or cause any bad feeling .
  13. Thanks for the advice guys much appreciated,:Dbut i'm still waiting for a dryish day to get board and kite out together. Was up at frinton today but ended up flying at holland on sea instead as saw two other kites over there but as i walked from frinton to there i didn't take the board. Going to take car to france for a day trip next week as they have nice long beaches there with nobody on them and hope i will get going there.:D
  14. Cheers for that mate, I will give him a look when i'm up in Frinton. I have been flying at the discovery center most weekends but last weekend the ground was too wet so went to Frinton but didn't see any other kites in the area so haven't tried the board with the kite yet but am looking forward to it. Do you fly in the Braintree area anywhere as the only decent area i have found is the discovery center.
  15. Cheers for that mate but as you said it ain't very good Wind at Braintree but i hopefully will catch you guys at Frinton sometime as its only an hour or so from here in the car and the wind is much smoother there. I would like to learn the basics before we take the bike to France as i think there are good beaches over there for kite flying and dont want to spend my hols being dragged along the beach on my knees. Cheers for now and will catch you guys soon.
