thanks everyone, it sounds like maybe there wasn't enough wind and it was stalling. the next oportunity i have of flying it i'll make sure its rigged properly. and the lines are of equal length. will let you know how i get on, hopefully next weekend. cheers

when the bar was pulled in the kite started dropping out of the air, when i let the bar out the kite seemed to power up, my mate who i was with and had a go who as depower foil said it behaved opposite to what his those.

thanks again for the advice.... its very odd as the opposite seems to occur, with depower strap fully pulledin with a loop formed the kite seems to loose power, as does more so when pulling the bar in. i will check next time to make sure the lines are of equal length.

thanks parksy, chicken loop line were defo fitted to leading edge (the longer line attachment on kite) and the outside bar lines were connected to back edge of the kite. can't say that we checked the length of the lines when power leach fully depowered and chicken loop next to bar (will check next time), but we managed to get it flying (eventually) but with power coming on with pulling the power leash fully in and pulling the bar towards me to generate pull...opposite to what the pter lynn video shows, and how depower kites have worked for me before.....confused

yes thats how we set it up, but the kite powered up when the bar was furthest away from harness and opposite when the bar pulled in, ie the kite power dropped as did the kite when bar pulled towards me.... i can only think maybe the lines have something to do with it, maybe they need measuring? but would this have an effect of depower when pulling bar towards me?

Hi, set up peter lynn guerilla today for first time and i'm not sure if its set up correctly. I was expecting power to come on when bar pulled in, and depower when bar released (as shown in peter lynn arc video), but the opposite happens...... not sure if bar and line ares suitable for this kite as they were set up for a 5 line lei, i have got a set of felexifoil lines rated at 225kg and 100kg, will theese be better? any advice greatly received.

thanks for that but i've decided to go for a new fleix foil tracker as recommended to me, roho are getting stock on wednesday so should be ready to rock 'n' roll anytime after that... seriously though, there are four lines comming off the kite, 2 at the top and 2 at the bottom, and i've got a bar with red and blue lines. where do they go on the kite and how do i connect them, is it with a knot? if so what kind of knot:confused: thanks agin andy

make that 3 members now. just got my kite today, looks to be in good nick can't wait to try it out. looks complicated though....how do i fit it all together?, i've never assembled a kite before, but the lines seem to be colour coded. still need a mountain board, somebody let me down , i was supposed to be getting one delivered today but he said he broke it!!!, i have to keep looking. let me know when you guy might go flying, i could probably do with some advise on setting up and flying.

Hi all, just wondering if anyone can recommend anywhere decent in west yorkshire for my first attempt at kite boarding this weekend? (weather permitting). I live in liversedge between huddersfield, leeds, bradford and halifax..... plus any advice on my first attempt would be appreciated
