OK, further pictures have been added to the Original Post, including pictures of the Rucsac, DePower bar & lines, plus the Poles. It will be very sad to see this Kite go, I had searched for a great ARC (this one) for a very long time. Selling due to other (family) commitments/lack of flying. I am looking at £175 ALL IN (this price also includes postage securely, via Courier). PayPal preferred or local pickup (Hertfordshire). I've also replied to those that have PM'ed me.

Hello guys, With regret I'm letting go of my 10M VENOM I depower ARC PowerKite. This Kite is in great condition, vibrant colours, crisp material. The Kite does not have any repairs, and is in very good condition. Comes in original RucSac, includes DePower Bar & Lines, along with the 2 Poles. Basically READY TO FLY, using your own depower harness. Extremely stable, auto-zenith (so will just 'sit' at the zenith with little to no input necessary)! Super smooth to fly, nice lifty floaty kite, safe to fly and wont catch you offguard! Great inland Kite too, these Peter Lynn Arcs are best known for soaking up gusty/windy conditions. The Venom would make a perfect transition, for those learning to fly their first depower Kite. Also, for those looking for more confidence on the water or land, the Arcs are SO predictable. This Kite is very versatile - inland (recreational / landboarding), on the water (kitesurfing), or even on the snow! Colours: Black / Blue / Yellow. All Pictures can be seen below... Sounds a nice setup Frakke - But you indicate ALL THOSE are able to "play" at the airport all at the same time! Surprised there's been no near misses of some kind with so many different things happening there at once, both on the ground and in the air. It only takes one person to lapse concentration, or the wind to blow a model plane or paraglider off course, and its very bad news!

This is very useful info too about various flying sites around the MK area. Thanks for this weedwabit! Will look into these further, and might end up bumping into you at some point!

Very nice feedback Zippy. What kites are you flying, when getting lofted to 20ft ? Are these LEI's ? Just looking over YouTube and there are countless short clips of individuals being lofted by freak winds to "silly" heights on standard fixed bridle foils that you usually only associate with 4 to 5 feet pendulum jumps max! Also in these circumstances as you indicate, a lull following the gust, often means a fast descent, as the kite collapses and doesnt suitably support your weight on the way down... As you also state, ensuring you fly in suitable winds, with the right kite for the conditions plus for your skill level hopefully helps reduce the risk of incidents. But I've been there on more than a handful of times, where I feel the Kite is flying ME, and Im not so much flying the Kite (definately then its time to pack up!).

In all seriousness, this is the nightmare scenario that I (and surely others) have at the back of their mind, when out with a large kite in decent winds !!? At the end of the day, we are just a little weight, on the end of a few lines, with a canopy above us that at any time is practically seconds away from being plucked into the sky by a freak gust of wind !

JackD, sounds like alot of fun on your new Peter Lynn kite. Now you are starting to get used to its flight characterists, you can push the limits even more. The Kite beginning to collapse as you come down from a jump is just because of the placement of the kite in the air. As you are coming down to land, redirect it back, to maintain its momentum and shape! Are you flying with Kite Killers too? So you simply let go, and the kite killers will kill all power should you find you are getting overpowered, or out of strength. When I used to fly my MAC Para Bego, it pulled like a train, and sometimes my arms got SO tired, and the wind was blowing quite strong, I just didnt have the strength to bring it back down , so let go of the handles and the kite instantly loses power, and will sail down to the ground...

Hi eazyrider, good to see you posting here! Was following alot of your threads and info on the (old) RaceKites. However since its new reincarnation as KGB or whatever it went over to, thought you decided not to transition across? Good to hear you are still alive and kicking with your Kiting and still deeply into the scene! Carper - As stated, checkout all the Kiting vids you can on YouTube and the like. Also alot of the Kiting companies, Peter Lynn, Flexifoil etc, have promotional Vids on their websites too, definately worth a look for the inspiration.

LOL, yer, at least in the buggy for the most part, you just have to sit back and relax, and just direct the kite properly to get moving. Whereas on the Board, you have the balance and everything to deal with as well as the kite. Kiting must be the exception where 3 wheels IS easier than 4 ! BOTH a great deal of fun though!

It's GOOD when the wife buys loads of stuff..... it gives me an opportunity to then do the same! (stuff for the car.. Kiting gear.. ).

Sorry to hear your gear is delayed. Hope it arrives swiftly. It is frustrating, when you look outside and see the weather doing what you want it to do for a change (in our case, nice and sunny with smooth winds) - BUT dont have the Kite to hand, to get out and enjoy it! Im very interested in your decision on the Peter Lynn Charger. Can I ask what it is about this Kite that has attracted you ? Theres always ALOT of talk about the Venoms, Phantoms, Scorpion and Guerilla's, but never so much talk on the Charger. I have read a few reviews and it sounds very impressive. Is this ARC targeted for certain disciplines as well, for example buggying or boarding ? Look forward to hearing about your first flights with this new Kite !

Spock - So a dog pissed on your bag that was actually on your BACK at the time? Hmmm, thats kindof harsh! The dog really was taking the piss !! LOL

Paddy, it would be best for you to sell your Venom 13M to me... This will prevent any further risks to your safety flying this kite! This is the sort of feedback you often hear from those getting into trouble flying a flxed bridle Flexifoil Blade, or similar! Not a Venom! These Kites by design should soak up gusty windy conditions, plus with your DEPOWER, you should have greater safety! Sounds like you took it out in winds too strong for either your ability, or even for the kite ? Also how heavy are you (perhaps a 13M might be too big)!? You might want to invest in one of the hand wind meters, and only fly when the wind speed is below say 15 - 20mph TOPS!! This way theres less chance at getting caught out like you might have done before! ?
