cheers guys I take it nobody would consider putting it in the washing machine then? I will get the hot soapy spunge on the job. Many thanks again. btw. the harness is for my son so didn't want to give it to him smelly! lol

Try Caravan cleaning fluid as it is very mild so as not to damage the thin paint work on them.

Hi all, I have purchased a second hand seat harness and it has quite a bit of cow muck ground into it. Can anyone recommend a good way of cleaning it? My wife theought we could put it inside a pillow case (to protect the washing machine) and put it on a 40deg wash! Not sure what materials are under the covering so not sure if this method would damage the harness. Anyones help is much appreciated. Thanks in advance Peety
