  1. Sweeeeeeeet looking van mate. BUT why are you getting rid??????? I would rather sell my wife and kids before my van!!! Ok maybe not the kids but deffo the wife....( dont tell her) Any one looking at this van, DO NOT be put off by the milage, as these vans are bullet proof and good for 400k + if looked after!!! Bumpty bump any time dude!
  2. Dont know about being lofted, He looked like he had been shafted....Ha ha ha. We were not flying inland, we were at Daddy Hole Plain in Torquay, right on the coast. The wind was just crap, to say the least.
  3. Just thought I would share this with you all and ask if anyone else had experienced any thing like it. Out flying yesterday, My brother was buggying with a 4.5 Bullet, when there was a big gust of wind. He got lifted out of buggy about six foot in the air, then dumped on his arse quite rapidly. After I eventually stopped laughing..... and went to see if he was alright, he is sat there rubbing his face, saying his lines have snapped and have whipped his face! GOOD NEWS! On closer inspection, the lines have not snapped!!! the knot on the bridle side of the larks head on both lines, had come un-done/given up. BAD NEWS! As said lines have given up, all power transfered to brake lines, has snapped the left handle!
  4. Hello mick, ooohh yes indeedy, cant get enough of the buggy, absolutely love it ( when we get any decent wind OR enough time (and no kids) to travel to westward). Just seen the vid.....AWESOME!!! Might be secret, but please tell me that is in the South West area? Going back to the mounting issue, what about the arm band strap in the kit????? Any good for the buggy head stock with a tweek here and there??? If I get to try any that are decent I will let you know.
  5. Just found a water proof case on ebay for £25.45 with free p+p.
  6. Dont worry Mick, I'm not that way inclined!!!! (would you like a nice long soak in the bath darling, dont worry I will run it for you, He he he) Was thinking along the lines of "plug hole cam" for the missus. Can you not use the Bike attachment bit in the extreme pack to attach to the buggy? That's what I was hoping to do if we ever get any decent wind.
  7. I have already got one on order, from where I got the camera from, same price. Am getting excited about all the situations that I could use it for!!!! (would you like a nice long soak in the bath darling, dont worry I will run it for you, He he he)
  8. You cant really knock it can you? For the money and simplicity of it, it really is the dogs danglys. You sound knackered at the end of that Mick!!!
  9. All I got was photobuckets home page, no muvi clips!!!!
  10. Bugger!!!!! Paid £80 for mine, but it still is worth it. I was also told that there are cheap copies coming in from china already, but cant see Maplins selling them.
  11. I intend to change the card, but the thing that I find amazing is the size and quality of this gadget, and all for only £80!!!!!
  12. Has any one used the Veho Muvi camera? I just bought one with the Extreme sports pack for attatching it to more or less any where. I have'nt used it for kiting yet as the wind has been poo to say the least. But I have been playing with the camera and it is an awesome bit of kit and VERY simple to use!!!!! Just push the button to film, pop it in a usb slot and view.SIMPLES!!!!!! Camera:- ::: veho ::: Extreme sports pack:- ::: veho :::
  13. dont know if it's too late, but just completed as best I could.
  14. Thanks for the replys and info!!!! I might just buy some of these lights now just to have a go. Speaking to a friend the other day, who came up with an idea that might not be as daft as it first sounds. He is into fishing and he uses a mini version of a glow stick that he tapes to the end of his rod so he can see it move when he gets a bite. They are a couple of pounds for a pack of six and thought about fastening these on the kite/mesh/lines/bridles as they are so small but highly visible at night.
  15. Has any body tried and tested the so called night lights for kites? I have seen them on ebay and are being sold as flashing Led's that hold on to your kite with strong magnets, for flying any kite at night!!! Looking at the pictures of them, they look like they may add too much extra weight to the kite...etc. Any one tried them, are they good or a total waste of time and money?
