  1. if you wanna find out how to rip your kite in half, i suggest a good rocky beach, where during a powered up sesh you do an unhooked double backloop and crash it nose down into the biggest rock you can find lol
  2. Clear your inbox, been trying to get hold of you for days! Anyone know how to get hold of Azbree other than trying to PM him on here?
  3. i am interested, but at the moment dont have enough, if i raise the funds I'll let you know., got £200 at the mo
  4. Awesome, ill have a loooky!
  5. Is this still for sale?
  6. Still got this? How much?
  7. Not arsed so much about smurfing, its for land mostly as you know i dont really smurf much. Just not enough grunt in the v2s, too lazy a kite.
  8. Thats one thing ive never been good at - juggling. I can do diabolo! And Im not really that agile so sharp turns can be a problem
  9. Lol. Its always a wheelie, never rode out a better wheely! Believe it or not theres not much balance involved in unicycling really, all about center of gravity and posture. Damn fun though
  10. Yeah I know, they were great and still are tbh.. Just not got enough dosh for a charger not surprised you loop em all. Crazy tricks you pull off sometimes!
  11. Yeah loops on land man, taking it extreme! Another useful tip cheers carl, you da man!
  12. Cheers highlander. Carl, currently got the v2 13m. Used to fly v1s phantoms, had a go on guerillas, scorpions. The only newer arc ive tried is a prototype charger about 3 years ago I think. Not tried the syns, vortex, bomba, s arcs or p2s
  13. Been riding my unicycle for around 6 months now. My better half bought it me as a birthday present December last year. Took aaages to learn how to get on the bloody thing let alone pedal along. But now after many many hours ive mastered getting up and pedalling off without the aid of support. Can probably go for about 800 or so yards before i start getting tired lol. but was just wondering, what else could i learn to do on one???
  14. It is true what plummet says, when you've gained good speed and velocity, edge back upwind just before you think you're ready to go, also bend down a little more, leaning back to build up more pop, swiftly send the kite in the opposite direction of travel diagonally through the window, pop the bar and your body and you should be going up. If your not, just keep practising. Dont be impatient if you dont get it at first. And as your reaching the pinnacle of your jump redirect in the same way you were in the first place. And if you follow these tips precisely you should get fairly decent hangtime especially on the FS
  15. Cheers AndyJ, sounds like you got it all worked out! Might be giving that a go tomorrow at rhosneigr But thing is, i know i posted this in the kitesurfing section, but im a landy mainly only occasionally surf, so im guessing when i mess up its gonna hurt much more!!
  16. Well ive flown arcs also for about 5 years and i had up until last year two RRD type 8s which were pretty good. Thats why i am easily swayed towards rrd over flexi.but i guess i should be trying larger range of kites. But still... if the ion flies in a similar behaviour to arcs then that sounds pretty good to me. Whats the bar pressure like, and more importantly to me, the lift and hangtime? Only ever seen old videos of Wilby flying them and my mate sam flew one once... or was that an atom :/ ?
  17. I've been looking a couple of hybrid kites more of the sle bow style to buy next, but problem is which one do i pick? Ive a choice between the Flexi Ion (2006) or the RRD hypertype (2007), both are pretty darn cheap but i havent quite enough for both (short by 50 quid!). So if you guys have ridden either kite or both, let me know what you think i should go for. I've ridden the RRD type 8s before but never touched a flexi lei, so its easy to see which way im inclined. also i will mainly be landboarding as well as surfing Cheers
  18. Is your price in canadian dollars?
  19. Is this complete or kite only?
  20. Awesome well done dude. Hopefully if the tips are true to intention then ill be nailing them too. Well all tips except for andy cs, as I think he just wants me to get spanked, but no pain no gain!
  21. Cheers for the tips guys shall give it a go and get some practise in asap
  22. Hi all, i was wondering if any of you kind people on here could give me some tips on learning how to kiteloop or even forward m to any video links that might help. Been kiting now for nearly 5 years and want something new to progress on and get some more tricks into development by use of kitelooping to gain that extra boost of power and air. If anyone has any useful tips on getting started with this innovative kiting manouvre, all would be most welcome Cheers!
