    which GPS?

i want to save up for a GPS to find out my buggy speeds! are there any cheap options that show current speed and top speed? and what GPS devises do all you guys use?
  9. broken lines...... good day sat, once i swapped my lines over from another kite, and when i was still able to hang on to my kite (i need a harness big time) i still cant get over the fact that all 4 lines broke, it still doesn't make sence:confused: those lines on your buster must be hardcore billy, cut through my ozone lines like butter..
  10. they are £5.95 a pair, i think you can get them from most kite shops, i know you can get them here from a quick google search >>> http://www.powerkiteshop.com/flexifoil-power-kite-kiteboarding-spares.htm
  11. me and billy will be out on sunday, its my only day off again:mad:
  12. lol, good vid Simon my comando role at the end is particulary cool:cool: LOL good day:D sat was also vgood..
  13. who is out at mabo at the weekend???? ive had a job cancled so i think ive mannaged to free may self up for Sat as well as Sun this week:D less money:mad: so no bigger kite for me for a while, but an extra day of buggy fun for once:D hope wind turns to more of an easterly! but looking ok as it is.
  14. good action clip of me just stood talking to PTW at the end, lol it also looks like i dont have any arms! lol
  15. i guess i do need to try them out, i just like the idea of only having ozone kites, but i dont want to trip myself up if there is something better out there in the same price range..
  16. me and billy went up to branston last night, and there is a signe saying "no power kites when pitches in use" there was noone there using the pitches so we got the buggys out and had a fly, a whole load of people turned up afther an hour or so and used the pavilion, all looking very official but noone came and said anything so i guess its ok:cool: someone whos mum is on the councel told had there was a ban because apparently someone had left a kite stake in the ground and the mower man ran over it in his mower and got injured?? but the signe gives the impression thats its ok if no football matches or cricket matches are going on. cant come to BLS at the weekend, as i have to look for a new house:mad: and im running out of time to get one sorted out, so will have to give it a miss this time arround, im gutted:mad: but hope to try and get down to mablethorp again on sunday, went this sunday, had an ok day but i need a bigger kite for those lower winds.
  17. i was thinking of just getting a cult untill they seem to have 0.5m each side of 6m which has throne me on my desision a bit as i think 6m is the way foward, but im not botherd about PANSH, or RADSAIL kites.
  18. does anyone still fly out at Branston?? i heard there is a ban, but not sure how reliable the info was? i wanted to go out there tonight after work. i guess if there is a ban there should be signs to say so, or i guess someone could come and tell me off?? not sure weather to risk it or not?
  19. the blurr is about £100 more expencive! they do look good though! and i think 5m is to close in size to my 4m sami2, i want the kite for upto 10MPH winds, and i dont have much weight to move! i had been thinking of the 6.5 cult but i though i would get more use out of a 5.5, im not sure if 6.5 would be too much, and i would rather get a kite i can get allot of use out of rather than i kite i rarely get out the bag, but i was thinking in the back of my head that when a 5.5 is not enough to then get a larger kite. i have a 2m and a 4m and want to start to go bigger, i was out yesterday in up to 12MPH winds with 4m and wished i had more power, so need a kite to cover these lower winds.
  20. im thinking of getting a 5.5m kite for use in buggy, can't decide between an Ozone Cult or a PKD Brooza 2, anyone compaired them?? i have a 2m cult, but not sure how the larger size would compaire, plus ive only had a couple of days of high winds for it to be worth buggying with, but still seems to be a good kite, and im not sure weather to take a step away from ozone for once as ive only ever had ozone kites??
  21. cool, im going to try and get there for 10 then:) hope i can convince billy its a good idea to get up early:eek: still not been able to get in touch with ralph:confused:
  22. posibly Ralf, ive not heard from him since last week:rolleyes:
  23. You working Saturday then Pete, or have you got 3 days off? no last weekend was technically my 3 days off but i ended up working a show on sat night:mad: and i had to go house hunting on monday:mad: Saturdays are all over the place for me at the mo working 2 jobs, if one doesn't eat my time up the other one does! so im working until 5 on sat and it poss not worth the hour it takes to get to the beach for sat night? and this Monday im working a show i can’t afford not to do really, bank holidays are a good earner for me:) so again its sunday only:mad: but better than no buggying at all:) billys got some time off at the mo so i wouldn't be supprised if he can't hold out untill sunday and turns up at the beach!
  24. so that rules the speed seat out then! looks like i should change the title of this thred to 'libra or storm?' dubai_reddragon, do you find it comftable for long runs or long days out in a buggy?, as im not at buggy jumping standards yet, im mostly trying to cruse about and buggy for as long as i can each time i go out! isaacb, with the libra, is a spreader bar pad a good idea? from the front the spreader bar looks like its in a funny place, riding just bellow the belt and looks like it could dig in a bit? or do you find no problems with it?
