Well after posting here for some advice on the first depower to purchase ( and many thanks to those who posted ), i have not only bought one new kite but 2, lol, was considering a new venom or scorpion but chose to get 2 mint 2nd hand ones for different wind condition and flying characteristics, first one is a flysurfer speed 10 and second is a 12m phantom ;p. Cant wait to get harnessed in on the end of these too and hopefully scare the living pants of myself, any advice or experiences on these kites would be fab guys.

4.9 blade any day of the week, i've got one, lifty as hell and will keep you there with the right conditions, Rage 6, nice kite, will lift, but will also dump very badly at times, although the blade is a way more scary kite, it has nevr dumped me in a lift once, fantastic peice of kit!!!!

Hey !!!, your welcome my friend ( how did you find it??), was good to meet up with someone and have a good old chat about kiting, will post on here next time i'm going up that way, so if your up for some flying let us know ( should have the phantom or frenzy by then too ;p ).

frenzy's are looking good, as much lift and float as a venom 2??

i will be flying on the beach every now and then rockchick, but mainly inland as i'm based in notts, will be with a friend most of the time, but its a good issue you have brought up about self lauching, is it really as bad as that??

thanks for all the advice so far guys, i've liked the look of the venom 2 from the start, how different are they from foils to fly guys??? would pop off to a site but not many round my parts ( nottingham, anybody know of good sites in this area, i know about airboss ), spoke to a guy in the shop today and he said not to bother with a sabre 2, they aren't that good and to go for a venom 2 or scorpion, what u think dudes????
