  1. Made by Ruben Visser, was a great day!
  2. @crawleypants Thats a verry nice pimpin job!! Great shape.
  3. And if you used black tape on the black bit, blue on blue and red on red?? It doesn't let you see the actual deck but it does complement the designed pattern.
  4. Slide, thats the high-end you're talking about. In my experience the low-end of the IV8.5 is like 2 knots less, if its not 1 knot, I think thats verry close. See it like this, I think the low-end of the speed3 15 dlx / speed3 19 dlx / speed2 15 sa / speed2 19 sa / bladeIII 8.5 / bladeIII 10.5 / bladeIV 8.5 / bladeIV 6.5 are all verry close... but different, I think thats good because there are so many different people uhhh.. kiters can't comment on other low-end kites, these are the ones I flew more then 3 times @high.as.a.kite Yeah everyone in the netherlands with the 15m speed3 is telling me that too, what a kite!!!
  5. @idscasper It depends, on inland grass spots you have grip and gusts so lets say 5/6 knots you're riding, feeling power, grip and if you're lucky you hit a gust and go into the air. But on a clean windy beach it's no fun with 5/6 knots, there the fun starts, for me at 65kg, from about 8/10 knots. But thats working hard so I stay on my local inland spots if the forecast is under 12 knots @slide, thats so true, but with grass and good tyres you can yank that 10.5 blade pretty quick for his size. In the end it's what you prefer, low-end of the bladeIII 10.5, bladeIV 8.5 & 6.5 are verry close. I have a little hill in a little park and thats where the 10.5 shines
  6. 19m speed3 DLX vs. bladeIII 10.5 (on 25m lines) I fly them both regurlaly (do I type that good??), the blade 10.5 gets you going earlier, the 19 speed3 gets you in the air earlier. But thats in the 5/8 knots category on board, above 9 they are both good, above 13 I only use the speed, above 15 I get my 12speed. I'm 65kg. Can't comment on the manta 15... But a 14.5 GIN Eskimo III starts riding not jumping just a tad later than the 19speed3. thats my 2 cents in low-end

    Powerslide 3

Looks like a verry fun event!! Great vid
  8. price is priceless man, just give it to anyone who will make it come alive again...
  9. Love your tricks man, would love to see how they are judged in a competition Just claim the tricks, if there is someone who dit it earlier he must speak
  10. WOW superr nice deck mr. PnT!!!
  11. [video=youtube;-nuvF-Qgxso]
  12. The design isnt effective in low winds, it's a high wind kite for riders who are +220 lbs... It's out of the range now 'cause there are to little +220 lbs riders who want a 14m pulse2. At least, that's what I think Don't get me wrong, I do like your comparison of all different models!!
  13. I'm feeling you (sounds scary when I read it back :S), went from a 10.5 blade III to a speed3 19 'cause practising tricks on the 19 was way more easy then on the big blade, and money flow at the time was good haha. They have basicly the same low-end, the big depower is simply easier. But thats in comparison with a 19 speed3, I think a 12m foil will never come close to the fun in low-winds you can have on a big Fixed-Bridle. So if you're not interested in a '15m and up' depower kite (there are some options besides flysurfer, 15m Matrixx / 15m manta) I wouldn't put you're Bego away untill you fully tested a 12m foil and think thats a good replacement. Cheers
