  6. Hope it went ok today DM did not think that car of yours was that fast 20mins to get to work in rush hour traffic. I would have liked to seen that.
  7. I am selling a Pepper1 3.5 mtr kite, colour is Red and Black with White underside. Only flown a few times kite still nice and crispy, no repairs as new. Would make a great first traction kite for someone, its just sitting around not being used. I am selling it as I have now moved on to de-powerable kites. I am looking for around about £100 + postage(also open to sensible offers only) Thanks for taking time to read this.
  8. Dave how much do you think I should ask for my pepper?
  9. Hi Dave I am looking to go up crab tree later about 1.30 on Sunday, if you are about will see you up thier. Pete
  10. Hi can anyone recommend a suitable size kite surfing kite, i weigh 15 stone and am just starting to get in to kite sufing. I already have a board but wanted some advice on what sort of kite size I should be looking for to get me started. I was out the other day no a 9mtr Flexifoil having a lesson in poole, wind was about 20 -25 and managed to just get up at end of lesson so now hooked. Hence this request as I dont want to rush out and buy anything. Looking to spend around £150, on me first kite just in case i crash it learning:D
  11. Hi anyone recommend a good DVD or book that I might get hold of to help with the basics for kite surfing. Its not as easy as it looks, going to book a few lessons in Poole Harbour. Can anyone recommend a good school in that area.
  12. Well what can I say Respect to you Dude....really cant wait to have a go and get on to the water. Just need to get used to my kite and the way it pulls then who knows. Once again RESPECT.
  13. Cant wait to get out again, when the bl--dy wind picks up. Just my luck got a new toy and cant use it, not to worry I am sure the wind will pick up soon. Then I will try and wipe you all out on me board, only joking got to try and get my balance dodge the dog miss you lot and try not to break anything. Well not to much to learn then Ha Ha. Juat hope i dont reach retirement age before i manage all of this.
  14. At least Barney didn't try to eat it. Watch out Pete that dog's got history Not as well trained as your dog then Colin.
  15. a major difference between the two types is where the hook is! on a seat harness it is low and on a waist harness it is higher up, also i've heard story's about wiast harnesses breaking ribs but loads of people use them regually so that most have been a freak moment, and seat harnesses if not fitted correctly can be ball crushers! swings and roundabouts to be honest and it mainly depends on where you want the position of the strop/chickenloop! C Cheers for the reply, will see this weekend at wallop. Going to try a few different ones on to see how they fit.
  16. I know what you mean, its so easy to get hooked on this sport. Plus its not to expensive to get in to either. Just having a great time at the moment, cant wait to progress further and have even more fun if possible than I am already having.
  17. Hi cool pics, where were you flying?
  18. Lol, if it's someone else's money I'm wasting, I wouldn't care how crappy it was Why spend any money on something that is not up to it, total waste.
  19. Not really sure, what are the pro's and con's on both of these harnesses?
  20. Thanks for the advise I will take a look at these makes and try some on at wallop, dont want to rush in and buy the first one I see. Want to make sure its comfortable, may buy a new bar too(get paid this week). What do you think to the swivel type bars are these any good, or do you think they are over rated - should I just look for a good quality standard bar?
  21. Its nice of you all takeing the time to reply to this item, the great thing about this sport is that there are always lots of other flyers around to give you help and frendly advise. May I thank those I have met so far and say hi to those I will hopefully meet in the future; be it on land or hopefully later on in the year on the sea (if i can manage to progress that far this year, fingers crossed). :D
  22. A while a go I brought a cheepy Radsail seat harness, used it last weekend for the first time in ernest all I can say is what a waste of money. The bar cuts in to your stomach(too many pies i hear you say) but seriously I would not waste your money on a cheep harness. So hence this post what harness should I be looking for, I want to be able to have the pull of the kite through the upper part of my body, so can anyone suggest a suitable harness thats not overly priced for me to buy.
  23. Cheers Peeps, just what I needed to know. Cant wait to get out flying again if it ever stops raining, cheers to DjMoz and NooNoo for your help on Sat. Got the Bomba up in the end after a bit of encouragment from you guys, had a great afternoon. Just got to master it with the board now without breaking anything.
  24. Sorry not having a go at every dog owner, just those irresposible ones. I like dogs myself just hate the mess some owners cant be bothered to clear up.
  25. Went out flying yesterday at Crab Tree in Basingstoke and could not help noticing all the dog s--t every where in the grass. Why cant the bl--dy owners pick it up and bin it. What are your views on this, have you come across this problem where you fly.
