  1. Hi, how much do you want for the 12m Kite only? kind regards, Thomas
  2. Vegas 2013 is more or less a delta-c-shape, so easier to relaunch! As a kite-designer you can make a kite with perfect dircet flying characteristics that relaunches like a pain in the ass. On the other hand you can also make a delta-bow-kite that relaunches nearly automatically with less direct flying characteristics. Something in between these two are all kites on the market. You can't avoid this trade-off! If you were ever out on the water flying some proto-types you know what i mean. The advertised-to-death kites tells you that these kites relaunch by pulling in one line only. But in really light wind you always need to pull in two lines on nearly all kites, trust me i'm working as a kite-teacher. In the end it's cheap advertising talk, many people blinded by advertising believe in that. That's why theses days even a North Vegas has a delta-sweep, which brings easy relaunch even on a c-kite, but that has some consequences on the flying characteristics as well... but you won't hear or read in the magazines or other commercials about this one for shure ;-) Flexifoil did not do really much advertising, and in the end the consumer gets more value for his money. If you buy an advertised-to-death kite you get less value for your money beacause the company has to pay for its marketing too! Think about it!
  3. Flexifoil SLE Kites are far more direct than other SLE Kites and some people on internet forums always complain about the relaunch of the Flexi kites. But if you have no clue about what you're doing, every kite is relatively hard to relaunch. There are so many possibilities to relaunch a 4 line kite that won't flip over by just pulling in a back-line... You can relaunch your Flexi Force or Hadlow ID out of the water easily in lowwind even when the wind is too less to keep the kite flying properly. 1. One option is to sheet in one backline and the frontline from the opposite side, and the kite auto relauches, even if the wind is too low to keep it flying properly. That's how i do it on my 12m ID, when i'm out with my skimboard in light winds. 2. just unhook and let it go onto a suicide leash. This makes it easy to get on its back and then relaunch is just like you would do with a 5th line kite. This option takes a bit of getting used to it. Relaunching a kite depends on the ability of the person using the kite and not on the ability of the kite these days! I prefer a kite that has great quality and direct flying characteristics over an "auto-relaunch-pull-one-line-kite", each non-kiting granny can restart, which has shitty flying characteristics!
  4. a typical 2 in 1 snowkiteboard that looks really god: http://www.kitetools.at/blog/wp-content/uploads/2009/01/006_catalogue_kite_snowboard_2009_10.jpg
  5. very nice looking board! which size does it have? how much does it weigh? kind regards, Thomas
  6. 8,5m Ion2 and 10m Kitefactory both kites flown in extrem overpowered conditions. The 9m Naish Torch 07 and the 11m Instinct Sport 2008 both also flown in far too much wind. The highest jumps i've ever seen (in real+on medias) were on the 9m Torch 07. http://old1.windkraftsport.com/images/photoalbum/1194630528_podo9nov07_11.jpg

  8. Hi, i'm selling my nearly not used and new Slingshot Len10 Lunacy in 129x39 complete including all original Slingshot-Parts. it comes in the original Slingshot-Box (carton) how it was delivered to me, including invoice from the shop for the board. Price including p+p within the EU: £ 350,- regards, Thomas
  9. haha, concerning Ocean Rodeo... these products have the worst price collapse after buying them in the whole country of Austria, because they are nearly not presented here. Also Flexifoil hasn't got a good price-stability on its products here around lake Neusiedl. There are some people who know the positive sides of a Flexifoil Product, but only a few people really want to buy a Flexi here. Flexifoil still has a really very very good customer service and their products are made out of the highest quality materials available - no doubt! These facts also lead to a higher price. In my opinion its better to pay a little bit more for a product that is really perfect, than to have a low quality product that falls apart in the first days of your holidays when you are for example for a longer time in North-East-Brasil where it's nearly impossible to get other kitestuff. No way, Flexifoil keep the quality and flying characteristics of your products where they are. kind regards, Thomas
  10. sorry, now the kite is nearly sold... it was a long time here in the "for sale" topic... just waitin' for the money to hit my bank-account. If that will not be the case, i'll let you know in this topic. kind regards, Thomas

  14. there is one pic i found on hanglos.nl: http://www.hanglos.nl/media2/news/newspics/pic2007115yPds1f1f.JPG
  15. i agree with you.
  16. there are two valves to let the air out of the kite. One on the wingtip and one in the middle. That's enough for me, and the the Ion2 is with Atom08 the fastest packed away kite i've ever had.
  17. more high aspect means more or less flat kite and more or less C-shape? Any infos if the kite will be in 4 line, 5 line mode or in a combined form? edit:
  18. all infos are welcome!
  19. I've got the 7m Atom08 as a high-wind kite. I love this kite for its stability, highend, safety (5th line kit) and its smooth beginner to intermediate flying-characteristics. Because in 30 to 40 knots every kite gets so quick that a beginner kite is the right choice in overpowered conditions for me. And Hangtime is really huge in high winds. Another positive fact of the 7m Atom08 is, that you trimm it through the frontline and backline Attachment-Points. With the backlines tuned to faster turning you'll get with the Atom08 a kite that can be kitelooped with less risk due to small Radius, which is also good in stronger winds. So no len10 Loops at 7-8 Beaufort which is quite good for my health. But I never ever will change my 8,5m Ion2 for a 9m Atom08. Just love my 8,5+12,5m Ion2s!!
  20. lake Neusiedl (it was a PKRA Tourstop in 2007)
  21. yeah, Klaus and me can't wait for the new Atom08. 7m and 40 knots at the same time and we fly to the moon. http://community.flexifoil.com/v2images/icons/firing.gif
  22. i didn't know the exact meaning of "bottled it". Sorry my english isn't that good, but kitesurfing - i like!
