  1. Selling my Large Libre Buggying Seat Harness, which is designed to fit 34 to 38 inch waists. This harness is really comfortable and is ideal for buggying as it does not have all the unnecessary padding that kitesurfing harnesses have so you can site nice and low in your buggy seat! I've reacently lost a lot of weight so this harness is too big for me now, hence the sale! The harness is in good condition. Colour is Red Looking for £40 + £5 for P&P, but open to offers. Am based in ipswich / colchester area if you want to have a look / pick it up! See pics attached.
  2. Been buggying and landboarding for a few years now. Bought this kite new last year with the intension to learn to kitesurf in the UK, but I never got round to it and at the moment I need the money more than the kite!! This kite has only been flown once by me at my local football field, so it has never been crashed and is in perfect as-new condition! The kite comes complete with pump, brand new control bar and lines, safety-leash, and the original expandable rucksack. Take a look at the pictures below and if you have any further questions please feel free to contact me. Kite is on fleabay: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=190307689257 Any offers will be considered!
  3. Are there any out there... Recently moved to wivenhoe and wondering if there are any local flyers! Have been to Abbey Fields and the Ardleigh Showground a couple of times but not seen anyone out...
  4. For learning, depower on a bar is beneficial for a few reasons: 1. theres only one stearing control to worry about instead of having two handles flying all over the place. 2. you can use the depower and trim strap to reduce or increase the power as you need to 3. When used with a harness, the safety on a depower bar is easier to activate than trying to unhook handles. Obviously you should static fly your accesses on your harness for a while untill you are completely comfortable with them before even thinking about getting in the buggy I currently use depower bars and handles interchangably for buggying, depending on what kite i'm flying. I have a Frenzy on a bar and a couple of Samurais on handles. The only advantage of handles is you do get more precise control of the kite which can help in gusts and turns, or when there is not much wind. Hope that helps!
  5. Sold pending payment

  7. Hi All I'm selling my 6m Ozone Samurai 2 to help fund some kitesurfing equipment. The Samurai 2 is a superb, stable, low-lift kite which makes it perfect for buggying. The 6m is the largest in the range and i've used it in 5mph winds, where it still had enough power to get me going! When the wind picks up it pulls like a train which is a lot of fun! Its the Red/Black/Yellow version and is in perfect condition. Has never been used on the beach so is still crispy, and has recently had new lines fitted. Comes with lines, ozone handles (with harness strop) and bag. Would like £190 + £10 towards postage, but open to offers Cheers Russ http://www.cobrakites.com/images/sampic5.jpg
  8. Hi Smoo I had the same problem with my Peter Thin Comp. Best way I found was to run the two rear seat straps over the back axel the other side of the side rail attachments so they come into the back of the seat at an angle. My PL was great for cruising. Got a backrest for it from Trikbitz on here which made it really comfortable. Have upgraded to a flexi now since I am getting into jumping Russ
  9. Yup! I would add Southerlys and Norththerlys to that list as well! Was a real "experience" flying there after kiting onshores in cornwall for 2 weeks!! I shall be joining you guys at rougham me thinks!
  10. That is so cool. Such a perfect landing as well! The man is obviously a pro!

  13. And yer just to follow up on Doc's comments I have been flying for over a year so very rarely look on the kite when I'm riding - always looking where I'm going and staying well away from people and obsticles!! So I certainly didn't hit it while riding - the only possiblilty would have been while towing my buggy out, but i doubt that would have broken the helmet, and I don't remember doing it. So to be honest I'm 99% convinced it wasn't me - it must have broken by some other means.
  14. Hey man appologies only just got on the forum and saw this! Really don't remember running over ur helmet - I did not even get in the buggy untill you had pretty much left if you remember? You sure it didn't get damaged in the car? If it was me I completely appolgise! Obviously it was a complete accident and I know kiting is an expensive hobby! Feel free to PM me and we can get this sorted. Cheers Russ
