I've gone ahead and bought the set up, here's a pic of all the bit's I've got. Any suggestions on what order to put everything on? I'm thinking bow shackle first onto the harness, then the Wichard and finally the block, hows that sound? Hi guys I've decided to sell my Sammi 2m mk1. The missus bought this for my birthday a couple of years ago, it was my first "proper" power kite and I loved it to bits but it rarely gets used these days so it's time for it to go. Kite is in excellent condition, still quite crispy, a little bit mucky in places but I've seen far worse! Comes complete with Ozone lines, handles and the original rucksack Ozone supplied them in. I'm also throwing in a stuff sack that I've been using instead of the rucksack. Whoever decides to have this they'll love it as much as I do.....please take care of it! Over the next few weeks I'm gonna get an XC harness but am a bit unsure what qr and block to get for it. Been looking at the Barton shackles: http://marinestore.co.uk/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Category_Code=barton-snatch-blocks cos they come with quick release and block together and look like they can be fitted to the ring on the front of the XC, but I've heard a lot of bad things about people not being able to release the qr when it's under strain. On the other hand I've heard plenty of good things about the Wichard qr but I can't see how to attach it to both the block and the XC. I thought about a snap hook or carbine hook but I'm gonna end up with my strop miles away from my body and I've only got short arms, lol Can anyone help me out, some experience of either set up would be great!

Right, hopefully this'll be clear, lol:) I want to swap the BFL forks with the extended spacers I've got for a pair of standard forks with standard spacers. As far as I know BFL are on standard wheels so the spacers that I want to swap with the forks will fit BFL, midis and boggo standard wheels and tyres. I haven't got any BFL's myself, hence why I want to swap the forks. I bought the bug 2nd hand and they came with the forks from its previous owner. Hope this clears it up a bit. :cool:

There's nothing wrong with my BFL forks I just can't ever see me using big foots and the bug looks a bit odd with those whopping big forks on there and a wheel that doesn't fill the gap, lol! :D Ideally I wanted to buy a pair of standard forks so I didn't have to sell the big uns but no one seems to be selling any. @thedogsbollox: Let me have a quick think about your offer. If I do go for it I'll give you the big spacers I've got if you could send me the smaller ones you've got with your standard forks.

Hi guys. I've already posted on the wanted section a few days ago asking if anyone would be willing to sell or swap a pair of standard forks for my big foot lite ones (I've got midi wheels) but I've not even had one reply so....does anyone know where I can get some or anyone who can weld me up some or modify the ones I've got.

Been thinking of getting one of the Ozone XC harnesses and came across a mod that means you can fit a spreader bar to it, but not much info on how to do it. Does anyone know how this fits, or some piccies of it?

this is for d dave as he put it on an other forum just to let you know: ive just been kicked of flexi 4 puting that 4sale post up apparently i am off flexi 4 good as they dont tolerate people selling fire arms its only a air rifel i never thought as per'usual so could some 1 put a post up in the 4sale section explaining whats happend as i was in the middle of selling the kite killers thanks 2 who ever does it dave..........

Yeah, the missus said the same thing :) I've got a bit of clearance when I sit in it but I'm gonna play about with the small swan neck that came with it to lift it up a bit but still keep it comfy. I've altered the foot pegs too from the piccie. They're straight down in the pic but I've turned them back 45 degrees. It seems a bit comfier for me cos I like to use the balls of my feet on the pegs. If I kept em straight down I'd end up dragging me heels in the ground, lol! It was just thrown together yesterday to take a pic and check everything was ok so it needs a little fine tuning. Have to say it's really comfy though, really pleased with it so far. Haven't used it in anger yet - she's being mean and saying I can't use it till xmas.....bah humbug!!! :mad:

Finally......I've got meself an RS bug :cool: I had a Peter Lynn for just under a year and when the missus asked what I wanted for xmas it was a pretty easy choice. Its 2nd hand but comes with quite a few extras - 135 axle, midi wheels, a libre seat, huuuuggggee front forks that'll take big foots if I go down that route, and two swan necks.
