  1. Hi Ant, At 65kg I am thoroughly enjoying my 11, 7m C4 combo. I get out on the 11m in 12 knots, not boosting huge or anything, but I can do low level freestyle and when combined with my Decay Scimitar I can have heaps of strapless fun. Ideally I'd love to add a 17m Zephyr for the 8 to 14 knot days, then hop onto the 11m C4. I can comfortably hold the 11 into the 20's and the 7m is usable for me from 18knots, so heaps of cross over. I haven't been blown off the 7m C4 yet, so I reckon as a high wind kite you'll love it! It turns amazingly, boosts well, relaunches great and has depower like no other 'C' kite I have ever flown! Double kite loops are very do-able and the nice thing with the C4 is that you can steer it so accurately that you can start with little helicopter kiteloops above your head and then work your way around to seeing your kite lower than you mid yank ! I had a go on the new 11m Edge in 12 knots last weekend and man that kite can boost even in such little wind! It pulls awesomely all the way across the sky and I can see why Adam Koch came first in the North American Course Racing Championships using the 2010 Edge! Good luck with finding your ideal kite quiver! Su Kay

  3. Hey Guys, To start off I'll say I fly Ozone kites - I instruct on the Lights, I have test riden the Sports and my personal favourite is the 11m Edge. Just a couple of coments to add to Baggsy's review and note I weigh 65kgs, mostly ride a stiff (carbon) Decay Katana 130x39 (narrow tips) or Decay Glock 130x41(square) board: 1. The first time I flew the 13 Sport I did feel I did not have enough weight to edge against it, but as soon as I trimmed it up to let the kite fly forward I was sweet and this is what I do: -When it is very light winds I actually depower the kite slightly at the cleet and find that it improves it's performance for unhooked tricks and upwind ability. -When the wind picks up to 14knots I can then ride the kite completely powered at the cleet for all my freestyle. 2. There is a lot of development going on to improve the bar for future kites. I personnaly have no issue with the current system and find that having a leash twist around my chicken loop just motivates me to rotate in the other direction - good to be balanced! The Sport is the kite that feels like it pulls you the most in the Instinct range. I think it's the kite for the person who likes to know where the kite is and do balsy powered moves. If you want a kite that depowers heaps go for the Light - this kite still allows you to do all your wakestyle tricks, but has less pull when things go wrong and is great for the traveler. The Edge is the kite for jumpers and speed freeks - it turns, is fast and is great upwind! I do unhooked freestyle and kiteloops with a lot more style and height than I've ever been able to do in the past - and then get upwind to do it again. This is my honest opinion. I believe every rider is different and you should ride the kite that suits you, the conditions you go out in and what you are looking to achieve while out there. Happy Kiting Su Kay
