  1. cancel my comments.Dozy me mines a ripper not the beast dohhh the sea water has nuked my brain!!!
  2. dont do it! i've been flying one for 2 years and its a brilliant kite apart from one thing.................the relaunch is truely awefull/demanding .I'm willing to put up with it as other than the relaunch for a 12m I think its the best big kite of the 20 or so I have flown.
  3. Spoke to Andy today and my kites done and on its way back to me.He is as mentioned above very busy at the moment which is hardly suprising considering the quality and prices he charges.
  4. sent a kite to him 10 days ago, so far nothing (he's been ace before top quality repairs at an ace price) Anybody know if his still about? If not I will need to try to get the courier company to bring my kite back!
  5. I've been using the 09bar for about 6 months now and had a faliure the same as yours.Phone Andrew at all good fun at Dunton green and ask him for some 6mm bare Dyneema that he stocks (the same stuff he sold to the fella that got him to shorten 2 sets of kite lines for him about 2 weeks ago) Dont get any type of sleeved line ie dyneema with a polyester covering as the already suspect best depower will become even worse due to the extra friction afforded by the braid where it runs through the stopper.Ive already tested this line for you its held up better than the best stuff and is half the price.you will need to tie your metal connecting ring back on a bowline will do this just fine.
  6. Me and my mate will arrive there Wednesday morning and have been told that there will be someone waiting at the airport with an attitude kite camp sign who will take you to the camp.If you could take your pump that would save us taking ours please advise!
  7. I've been watching this thread for a few days now and am fairly suprised by some of the replys! I have flown the 08's an 09's for somewhere in the region of 100 hours maybe more maybe less and to be honest theres barely any difference between them, both are great kites, lay an 09 on top of an 08 and the 09 has a very small (couple of inches difference in canopy depth) difference, the struts on the 09's have been moved. To fly the 09's do feel very very marginally smoother as to whether they make more power anywhere is arguable.Compared to the 07s either the 08's or 09s turn much faster and also do not have the tendancy to back stall that the 07s had when oversheeted on the up stroke.I would personally buy either the 08s or 09s purely on which was being offered for the best price,I would give the 07s a miss as the improvements from 08 are substantial.
  8. Definatly go for the 07 bar (had nearly 2 yrs on these) the 07 best throw is long throw which basically means you can both over sheet the kite and almost completely depower it just with the throw of the bar.The early 08 best bars were short throw and not much cop, late in 08 they were moded with a longer throw but still not 07 lengths (the 09 is about the same as the late 08 i've just moded mine with a north rope to get back to 07 lengths) I'm off now as i'm starting to sound like a bit of a anorac !
  9. hi is the waroo still for sale! if so can you forward a contact number
