do foils depower? which ones? what other things would I need to buy to go with it?
cause I really don't like handles, its more just how they feel compared to the bar. That sounds a bit lame but I would prefer a bar if its possible
I actually have no idea how to fly with handles but I'm pretty good with a bar. thats probably one of the reasons why a lost my handles in the first place
can you do ATB with handles?
Hi
I bought a PKD buster II recently but managed to break the lines and loose my handles... (I would rather not tell how its kind of embarrasing)
So I bought a cheap second hand sea kite and took the bar of it as a sort of conversion. It flies great as a 2 line, but I want to get into land boarding so I want it to become a 4 line kite again. any ideas on how to convert it? would I need a new bar or something?
the bar I currently have is from an 18m Aero II
Thanks Hayden
I can afford all of those kites the Ozone Imp Quattro(3.5m) for 323.50 or the Flexifoil Sting 2007(3.3m) $399.00 or even the PKD Buster(4m) for $345
what sort of things do they offer?
and what would justify my purchase?
any other kites i should consider?
Ok. So I've Been looking at kites on Kitepower Australia and I've narrowed it down to either the Ozone Imp Quattro(3.5m) for 323.50 or the Flexifoil Sting 2007(3.3m) $399.00
are these good choices? any others I should consider?
What shops should i be looking at also?

I want to get into land boarding but I was given the advice to try stationary kiting first
Is this good advice and if so what sort of kite should i get?
I'm wanting to get a kite that is reasonable cheap, but one that will last me for awhile atleast.
I'm wanting to get a kite before the school holidays
I'm not really that interested in kitesurfing cause I just cant be bothered going into the nice cold melbourne water
i really wanna do snow and land though
would i be able to do things like jumping with a 2.5? - i dont really wanna have to buy lots of kites cause currently i dont have a job and I'm sorta taking cash out of my reserves to get these things
also would i want a bar or handles?
When do the people from elwood board?
cause I'm actually going to fiji in the school holidays and i dont really care for lying around doing nothing so i was gonna try and take a kite with me
Also I cant really afford the 2grand or so required to get kitesurfing kit
I have flown my Friends practice kite a bit
i was ok at it but nothing special made it do some cool flips and stuff
yeah I got interested in land boarding cause my friend kitesurfs and my other friend windsurfs - they wanted me to do water but in my opinion its to cold and I really don't like the water that much so I decided i was gonna do landboarding
I live in Brighton
I'm very new to the sport and I'm after some budget gear
Looking at starting Landboarding and will need everything - board, kite, bag and anything else that I might require also advice is always helpful
thanks
Hayden
