Just dropped in to say Hi, Life is still crazy so no time for flying but still have all my gear so hopefully one day i'll be back on the beach.
Well done on the PB simon.
Martin, Seymore, Mole.....strange
I'm still alive, just can't remember the last time my kites saw the light of day. The building project that has taken all my time up is realy taking shape now, even using the new bedrooms. Will hopefully get out to play this summer.
Well after 4000 bricks, 600 blocks, about 10 tonnes of concrete and 7 months of not flying my kite the roof has started to go on the extention this week. Only another couple of months and i might be allowed out to play again. Winter easterly winds when you can't feel your hands you can't beat it!
Hi all thanks for the text carl but i'm working sat night so will be in bed for most of sunday. Realy must make the effort to get a day out, the last few months seem to of been to much work and not enough play.
Morning all, well Ireland was a bit dismal only made it to the beach once in a week for a little static fly. The beach must of been about 7 miles long the only problem would of been there was only about 10m of hard sand when the tide went out and loads of holyday makers wanting to play on that. All in all had a good time though and the guinnis did go down well.
Simon i always use my 3m little devil in high winds, it is very stable so i would amagine the 2m would be good to learn with.
Building is going slowly but getting there. It makes a nice change for the sun to be out. Will put kite in but can't fit the buggy in anywhare she might spot it.
Dose anyone know what the kiting is like in south east ireland. Heading off there on saturday for a week and didn't know if it was worth throwing a kite or 2 in the car.
Wow Carl I thought you were having a laugh when you text me. I had been at work thinking they are mad if they go out in this rain. Well done mate you know how to set the standards. P.S. I'm off work and it's raining again, that makes a change.
Give the building inspector lots to do he might leve me alone. Radon sumps and Radon Barriers It's all a big headache. When i am done i'm not living in the old part of the house it sounds to dangerous!
Thanks for the text on sunday carl, sorry i could not make it sounds like i missed another good day. I'm still dodging the rain showers trying to build this extention, it is slow progress at the moment, lay 10 bricks have an hour off for rain you know how it is. Anyway i will have to down tools and have a day out soon.
