Get a hire car and a map, there are loads of decent spots - obviously wind direction has a big say inthe matter - some are a bit of a drive but get a tastey pack lunch from one of the really good sandwich shops and have a day of it. Take plenty of water. I remember some of the shore break was incredibly powerful - winded the crap out of me when I was on a body board! Id give Flag a miss for the above reasons - but also we found it very crowded and with more than its fair share of dickheads. Not a generalisation pleaae understand, most were sound but its the dicks that stand out. Cant comment on the school guys as never had dealings. I love Fuertaventura, just wish I cuould guarantee wind when I go - more than 80% of our time there has been still as

Monkey Kite - Griffin 12M ready to fly (2008 i think) red/black. Lightwave 148 board with comfy pads, v c g for age, pads have seen better days do what they are supposed to. Harness - Prolimit- Its grey and large, very good condition Its all a few years old in kite terms but its in very good condition as its hardly had any use (sea is 2 hours away ) i'm fed up of the wasted weekends and wasted diesel chasing wind. Go back a bit further and hook into a Strike, they could kill for fun. I once (first time out the bag) set mine up backwards and was so close to having a big moment. i would have deserved what i got though being a dum a***

19 magazines. Kitesurf Magazine from Sept 04 ~ Dec 06 theres also a few Powerkite magazines and 1 Kiteworld mag. All in pretty good condition - used. Rather than chuck them in the recycling - £5 to whoever wants them (collection prefered as p+p will add to cost)

Live to far from the sea to warrant all the gear so selling off to fund parts for my van. 9m Monkey Griffin. Red/Black - Its prob around 4yrs old, very good condition (little bit of salt water stain). No repairs or leaks. Its a budget kite but flys really well and is well made. The full depower bar is a little basic but everything works. comes complete. £200 131 Madness twin tip. 2 yrs old, £300 brand new and is still just like brand new as its only been used 3 times, its mint. G'runner beat me to it. The Aussie kiters I met were sound, and very social while passing on the water very civilised. Flares were part of our training, as were line cutters, a lot of kiters I meet dont have a line cutter. I dont have flares as i only kite safely close to shore but I would defo have them if kiting way out back or in an off shore. I've seen some less than british behaviour here (Newborough on Anglesea). I wasnt kiting but there was a bunch of guys on the beach chatting by their kites 50 yds down wind of me. A kiter came blasting down wind passed me, passed the chatty guys and then about another 50 yds or so, he was slowly getting closer to the beach, he didnt change course or slow or anything (he was moving), then his board grounded and he nose dived onto the beach and then was dragged off down the beach - the chatty guys just pointed and laughed! I ran full tilt after him but luckily he stopped when his kite crashed and pulled his E. He was fine, just embarrased. Kiting Colin, dont underestimate what you did, you used your head and saved someone. Hats off, you deserve a medal. Kiting Colin - OBKSA

£200 ovno Board and padded zip up bag. now reduced to £180 . . Its white with black decal, it looks smart. It has 4 ally fins. Its like brand new, its 18 months old but has only been used for about 15 minutes - no joke. Selling because I hardly kite anymore and I need to pay my tax bill Edges are perfect (no dings) No scratches on any of the surfaces (except one little scratch on the sode of one of the fins) It has decent comfy foot pads and straps. Also has a handle. Get yourself a practically new board ready to go in time for the wind to arrive pm me you email if you want photos (i will try and post some on here if i can)
